Mark You may be slightly biased do you know how your sub would compare to mine? have you listened to a ksw-15? I'm wondering if your sub would have more accurate and more powerful bass than my ksw. Also anyone else have input on this? Mark I also sent you a PM

Thanks for the quick response. I offered him 250-300 depending on how they looked...he rejected the offer. Oh well I'll just keep on looking I'm not in a big hurry to buy them. I know it probably wouldn't be easy but it would be nice if you could search ebay for previous sales. Maybe they could keep an active search record available for a month past the auction end date.

Hey guys There is a guy relatively close to me who has a set of KG 5.5's for sale. He is going to be in my area today and he is supposedly going to have the speakers with him. I have not seen or heard these particular speakers. He claims that they are in good condition and I believe he said they were made in 96 or 97. My question is what would be a fair price for them? I have done several searches here on the forums and have read a few posts mostly from 1-3 years ago. The price seems to be between 250-400. I was going to offer 250-300 if they are in good condition. Let me know what you think thanks

What do you think I could get for my ksw? Do any of you think I would be better off keeping the ksw and adding an additional sub? 2 subs = more bass? and less dead spots?

Well, I would use this sub along with my ksw-15 in my main system or simply replace my ksw-15. I use my ksw for movies and music as I would my new addition. To be honest I'm not sure technically what I would say I am looking for, some say my current sub is "boomy", I suppose I would agree with that. I like strong bass but maybe something to complement my current system or to add in a little better response. I'm not sure that what I just said makes any sense to anyone else but it is the best way for me to describe it. A side note would be: I love bass, I probably couldn't ever get enough.

Hey guys I am looking to add another sub to my home theater or replace my existing KSW-15. If you could let me know what would be the best bang for my buck. Thanks in advance

I'll try to keep this short I've been off of work for the past few months with a herniated disk L5 S1. I was at work and tried to lift something that I should not have. I had been regularly attending physical therapy and steadily improving. Just in the last 2 weeks I have been totally cut off of all benefits from my workers compensation (insurance company). I have been caught up in the middle between my orthopedic surgeon and this insurance company. He refused to send them any progress reports because he said they have failed to pay him up to this point. My physical therapist has been regularly sending weekly or biweekly updates. This was not good enough for them. By the way my insurance company picked this particular doctor for me. The insurance company sent me to an "independent evaluation" by one of their doctors. His report came back that I was indeed still injured severely enough that I could not return to work even with restrictions. He did say (in his professional opinion) that this may very well have been and existing condition, which is BS. The only injury I have ever had is a sprained ankle back in high school football. Now I am sitting here without a job or income and without the ability to return to work or find a new job. I have hired an attorney (hopefully scum can help me defeat worse scum) but I have to wait 5 weeks for a pre-trial and then 60 days for a trial. Insurance companies are not at the top of my list of most liked entities

Thanks STL I've thought about it some more and I will probably wait until I have enough money to start a new system. I would probably go with the reference series and a SVS sub or two. I'm not at all familiar with them but many have spoken highly of them on here. I AM A BASS FREAK! Anyway, thanks for your post.

middlecreekguy, If you think MOH is good...seriously try Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat. It COMPLETELY blows MOH out of the water. You don't have to buy, like I did, the expansion for 1942 just buy the basic game and then download for free the Desert Combat upgrade. www.desertcombat.com

I love the Age of Empires...Have one or two of you gone to the zone or ESO and downloaded the patch and the others haven't? If so it will not work. Port Forwarding or setting himself up as the DMZ host could also be another problem. If he has XP then make sure the firewall that came with it is turned off (if you have another one). Any other questions message me I will try to help I'm no expert but I have dealt with this issue many times myself!

I own and have played Diablo II as well. It is a fun game the first 8 times you go through all levels. I'm in the market for a new adventure game.

mkl, I haven't done much shooting lately. I really want to get out soon but I have been off work for the last few months with a herniated disk. As soon as I am better I will get out and plink. I have a Glock 17 9mm, Smith & Wesson 22a .22 cal, Smith & Wesson 457 .45 caliber and a Ruger 1022 .22 caliber rifle. Obviously, I mostly shoot handguns and would like to get into a club and do some competitive shooting. I would also like to, when I have some more money , purchase a high-powered rifle and a shotgun. H&K are very nice guns a buddy of mine owns the .45 model with the stainless slide.
