I really wouldn't want to butcher the design; mabey just replace the caps out for the same value but better quality. I'll guess that Klipsh doesn't spend more than they have to on the parts.

Hi, I've had my rf25's for about 1/2 year now and for the most part am quite pleased with the sound but can't help to think that there must be some room for improvement: the mid's could be a little smoother and mabey slightly less aggressive in the upper mids. I'm running my system on a diet of tubes n' vinyl. Idea's....[8-)]

I tend to like the rounded quality the output transformers can bring to a circuit, and was wondering if anyone has come across line level transformers that could be implemented between a cd player and preamp? I've heard that they do exist, but don't know who manufactures / markets them. THanks.

I've no experience with the amp, but if the sender declares a value of 200$can or less, then said item is duty free.

Kuisis, another consideration might be the Lector cdp-0.5t, which is an italian made player with tubed output stage that apparently wipes the floor with Regas and the like.(advice from a trusted dealer friend) At 2300$ canadian before any discount it's not cheap, but probably worth the stretch; (I've heard the regas, and while o.k. they hardly play in the big league)
