  1. I demo'd both the HSU Research VTF-2 and VTF-3. I recommend both - they are excellent. I went with the VTF-3 since it was constructed better and had a bit more range, but the VTF-2 is no lightweight! You can get the VTF-2 new from several places - one I just found tonight - Home Theater Plus - for under $400. Here is the whole link: http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/nsearch?query=hsu&catalog=hometheaterplus&.autodone=http%3A%2F%2Fstore.yahoo.com%2Fhometheaterplus%2Fnsearch.html E-Bay is a good place to look for the VTF-3 too. Good Luck.
  2. These three are unbelieveable: 1.) Lion King - Special DVD Edition on 5.1 mode. Whole thing. 2.) Titan AE - (Hsu Research used this movie to demo their subs (Convinced me to buy one). Whole thing, but especially Scene 19 - Building a Planet. 3.) U-571 - Scene 15 - Depthcharged.
  3. Thanks for the info. I love my sub and after people have listened to it, they did one of three things: 1.) Bought it. 2.) Cried because they wanted to buy it but could not. 3.) Bought a cheaper non-HSU model and regretted it.
  4. Denon 3803. No question. While still a bit expensive, their prices have come way down over the last 14 months. 110W X 7 - gotta like that!
  5. I have the VTF-3. I am not sure how the MK II differs from the original, but if it is even close, you will not be disappointed! You hear AND feel the music!
  6. I have the following system I assembled last year: Denon 3803 Klipsch RC-7 Center Channel Klipsch RS 3 II Surrounds (Side & Back) HSU VTF-3 Sub Klipsh KG 2.5 Fronts My question relates to the fronts... I am thinking about upgrading to the RB-75s (still working on the wife on this one...), but did not know how much they differed in sound quality than the KG 2.5s. I am sure they are diiferent, but how much so, and is it worth investing another $850.00. I listed to music and movies quite a bit. Thoughts???? Thanks.
