  1. Just wondered if anyone had seen the Klipsch room at CES and how it was?
  2. Warner Robins is located about ten miles south of Macon. I bought them from Kens Stereo in Macon. I did get a slight discount from list. It was no trouble to get the Med Oak since they are pretty much made to order anyway. If you are close you are welcomed to drop by and take a look.
  3. The new speakers were built in November and did include the seals for the corners which were to install. My wife got to pick the finish which was medium oak.
  4. At the end of October I ordered a new pair of Khorns and was told that it would take about a month to get them. Well they finally arrived last week. They are everything that I had expected. I did notice that pictures of the newest models show that the neck piece between the bass bin and the upper horn section had been eliminated. Mine still have the longer neck piece as with the older model. I am wondering if I really bought the newest version or not? I am the guy that was ordering new Cornwalls about two months ago until I found out that I couldnt get them for quite a while.
  5. I understand that Paul Klipsch was pictured with a three channel front only setup using to Corner Horns and a Belle for the center.Has anyone tried this setup in this day of surround sound and would a Heresy work for a center channel?
  6. I am not sure but I have ordered a new pair of Khorns and it is taking about 5 weeks to get them.
  7. To hear my wife tell it I just hired a carpenter to come in and knock down a wall so that my new K horns would have two perfect corners.
  8. Since I own both ML Claiitys and Klipsch I can say that both are good in their own right. When positioned correctly and seated at ear level the Claritys are really great. For the big clean and clear sound the large Klipshes cant be beat. Oh by the way be ready to power up for the Logans.
  9. It would be interstring to know how many profssional music persons or other celeberties own Klipsch sperkers.Did Bill Clinton have Khorns in the White House? Just wondered?
  10. Anyone have experience with Parasound Amplifers with Khorns? I understand that they operate class A up to 25 wpc.
  11. Just how important is it to use exact corner placment for Khorns? Can they be angled out towards the listening position? How about corners that are kind of rounded but not really square?
  12. I purchased from Kens Stereo in Macon. I phoned Klipsch today and spoke with someone in the help center and he indicated that he had heard the new Cornwalls and that the crossover had just been finally tweaked. He thought that the K-33 woofer was to be used but that the mid and high frequency horns were new. I hope that the speakers will be in production before long.
  13. The dealer says could be as soon as 14 days. He also said that the new Heresy is going to list for around 1500.00 per pair and the Lascala will be about 5000.00 ( I think ). Big changes for the Heresy I think.
  14. List price 4000.00 per pair. I paid 3300.00 plus tax..
  15. I have just ordered a new pair of Cornwall III's. I am assuming that the driver compliment is the same as the old ones. The dealer tells me that they are being built as ordered and to expect a wait of two to four weeks. Does anyone have any particuars on the new Cornwall?
  16. Well actually I own a pair of Lascalas. a pair of B&W s and a pair of Magnepans. Different room different sound. Of coarse the Klipsch speakers are my favorites. Dan
  17. I realize that newer Kenwood equipment is not held in such high regard, however has anyone had experence with their top of the line Sovereign series?
  18. Actually I was thinking about a model MHT 100 that I saw on ebay.
  19. Does anyone have experence with Klipsch speakers and Mcintosh AV reciever?
  20. All great suggestions but what about the remastered Elvis on "are you lonesome tonite" as he drags the mike stand across the concreate floorwhile recording.
  21. I currently own a MA-6500 and really love it. It is a warmish but very solid amp. I have used it with a varity of speakers including my Lascalas. I think retail is about 3100 new. I paid 2000 for it a year old and have never regreted it.
  22. Thanks to everyone for the input. I will have to try the 720 setting. thanks dan
