  1. I am in need of a 100' length of cat6 cable for some home networking.  Never bought that much length before and don't really know where to start.  I noticed mono price has some to offer, and under $15.00.  Seems almost too inexpensive (?).    Any one know where I should start, or have any advice?  Thanks,  dwillie.

  2.

Never heard the d150.  It is because I've been told on more than I occasion that it sounds terrible.  The d45 and d75a are wonderful.  I have both.

I heard a funny comment one time here on the forum.  "You shouldn't attempt to sell your Crown d150.  In fact, you shouldn't give it away either."

"Old and cold" "Don't give it away. Throw it away"

I have two older black-faced Crown DC300II's and am very happy with them.  I also have a Crown DC150 and have no complaints although the power difference is obvious between the 300 and 150.  Also have a Crown Micro-tech 1200.  They all sound nice and I use them for different applications.  They are not boutique, but I  never had a problem with a Crown.

  3. A buddy of mine is opening a indoor rec center and I was checking it our the other day. He has 1 speaker hooked up, it's a JBL. I asked how much he paid,  $1200 for a single. A good friend has him dialed in (for a good screwing) He's looking to pick up 3-4 pairs to start, they don't have to be perfect condition wise. I told him I can probably get him into a couple pair at $800-1000/pair. Anyone have a pair or 2 they aren't using and want to sell them?

    JWEB, JIMBO, OPUS, COLTER?

I can give Tim a call in St Louis but I really don't feel like driving there and back. I'm not making anything on them, just trying to help a buddy out

  4. I would love to try one of these, and you are just a bit north of me.  Very tempted!  Once in my hands, I would want to get it looked over, cleaned up and back in top shape.  Maybe a re-cap if necessary.  Anyone doing this kind of work in the Northern IL or Southern WI area?  dwillie.

  5. I really like the Minimus7's.  They were readily available at Radio Shack for years and they must have sold millions of them.  For what they are (a "mini" speaker like the a/d/s), with a sub woofer the sound is surprisingly pleasant.  It is unfortunate they carry with them the image of Radio Shack :(  because this is one product I think they did well on.  dwillie.

  6. a/d/s L300's or L400's you will not be disappointed.  If you want to stay Klipsch KG1's, 1.2's, or 1.5's are incredible for their size with real wood veneers.

Klipsch will always be my favorite, but when I had to go small for desk top use, I also chose the a/d/s L300's.  Fantastic near field sound, especially with the subwoof.  dwillie.

  7. Going through some things here in the basement shop and I found an extra logo that might help someone out. Not everyone needs one of these, but the one fellow Klipscher who does, well here it is. Yours for no charge, just let me know by way of P.M. why you need it, and where it will go, provide me your address and I'll send it on for free. Happy to share it, maybe I can ask a favor some time. d willie

  8. I am looking for a nice, but not perfect, pre-amp for a 2nd bedroom system. I have a Crown amp and some Heresy's I'd like to make use of. Anybody who has something interesting to let go of, let me know. I would consider just about anything of quality. Thanks, dwillie.
