I called Klipsch and ordered the 3 bucking magnets needed for my single Heresy II cabinet. ($40.11) The tech stated that you apoxy-glue the magnet to the back, as they REPEL.....if they stick...you are doubling the magnetism, so make them REPEL ! I hope this helps !!!

I have been using a RC-7 for center-channel ONLY because I dont know how to SHIELD my extra Heresy II. I would love to match timbre w/ my Klipschorns, BUT the Heresy II cannot be placed in the center, ... because of the TV !!! ~ Is it possible to shield a Heresy II ?? ~ Will I have to buy a different speaker to place in that Heresy speaker box? They custom fit inside your ear like a glove and have inter-changeable dB fliters (9db,15dB,25dB) This way you can be around loud volume thru-out the day and take them out when you really want to enjoy the sounds you "live and die" for. The fliters attenuate "across the board" ...everything comes across "crystal" clear...and is turned down to comfortable listening levels. I use the 15 dB around my drumset daily !! 25 dB's at the shooting range. Just ask any EAR Doctor for MUSICAN's EAR PLUGs...they will save your ears for life. Thank You sincerly for assisting me in this endevour. I just purchased my Ref 50 and B+K amps...so that is out of the question...for now ! YOu suggested... 1) You can change the 13uf Aerovox cap in the AK-3 to a higher quality one or a Jensen PIO. 2) You can try a another tap on the autoformer to lower the K-55M's output, or try a K-55V midrange instead. Does the K-55V incredibly moother and how would I change the 13UF cap ? Do you do this service?

I finally got my FIRST pair of Klipschorns (AK-3's) ...time to celebrate right??? ....well, I feel that the Squaker is too abrasive and loud. Question to ALL YOU CROSSOVER experts.....I use B+K amp and Ref 50 Pre.... my question is. ...WHAT will I need to approach to soften and smooth out the abrasive squaker?

(Also,.. wholesalers that I should buy from ....and STAY AWAY from ?) ~ I want to move up to HDTV and make that big investment before X-Mas.
