  1. I currently run KLF-20's, looking for a C7 center and a rsw-12. I am looking to do in wall speakers and was wondering in the 5800's would work well with this setup? They will only be surround speakers. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help. Would anthing else work better?
  2. I have to say nice taste in doors. I put the exact same ones throughout my house. I am halfway through my home theater room. I will post some pics after they throw the texture coat on. I did a similar "vault" as well.
  3. Nice poster of the "49'er Legend" Joe Montana. I sure wish the 9'ers could get back to those days. Rooms looks like it will me nice when completed.
  4. pie5555, Shoot me an email at: kent@johnsonortholab.com. Lets see what we can come up with. Thanks, Kent
  5. Does anybody know what an excellent condition KV3 would go for nowadays? I have no idea.
  6. I used to run the KG5.5's and the KV3 together. I thought they were a very good match. I don't have experience with the other one. If your looking for a KV3, I may have one for sale. I am looking for a KLF-C7 to match my KLF-20's.
  7. I have the rsw-12 and bass is no problem at all on the sub. I have just heard some people say that the KLF-20's hit pretty hard and I have yet to see it. The KG5.5's did hit hard though. Maybe if I go with a parasound that will change.
  8. Just curious what you run your bass and treble settings at? I run mine at +2 bass and -2treble and they still seem a bit bright and definitely lacking on the bass side(I have a cement foundation that doesn't help plus I run the old AVR-3300 receiever.)
  9. I am curious if the Denon products in conjunction with Klipsch speakers seem to produce to much clear/highs? I used to to have the KG5.5's and they weren't that bright. I assume since the KLF-20's have seperate horns that might cause this. I am thinking of upgrading to Parasound and hoping that the speakers aren't as bright. Anybody have any experiences with these combinations?
  10. I saw that on Ebay as well. $1250 for KG5.5's? I paid a $1000 back in 96 or whatever year that was. The guy must be crazy. He will have a hard time getting more than $400.
  11. Considering that as a last resort. Where are you located?
  12. I am looking for a KLF-C7 as well. I might be interested in doing what you just finished doing. Does the KLF-C7 use the same x-over/circuitry as the KLF 20's do? If the C7 has a different x-over/circuitry wouldn't that make your rig sound totally different? Just curious because I am definitely interested in what you did. Thanks
  13. Thanks for the reply. I will solder it today and drop it in the wall. They are insulating the room now so I am glad it's ok to splice. Thanks again.
