Just wondering, how are the older models of Bryston, like the 4B ST? Has anybody use the 2B? Was thinking about getting 2- 2B and to run both RF7's. Ray

Just wondering if anybody has used a sunfire amp with a rotel pre amp? I want to go to 7.1 channel with my setup and was thinking about the sunfire 7 channel amp to save some space or get a Rotel RMB 1080. Right now, I have Rotel RMB 1095 and Rotel Rsp 1068. Any thoughts. How is the sound between the sunfire and rotel? Thanks, Ray

Hey Everybody, I am thinking about going to 7.1 in a couple of months. Right now I have a Rotel RMB 1095 that is 5x200w and RSP 1068 as a pre that has is 7.1. I was wondering, is it ok to mix and match amps or should I stick with a 2 channel rotel amp? I was thinking maybe sunfire, used aragon, b&k. Any thoughts on digital amps, like the ones Rotel has out now. Thanks, Ray

Having Problems posting pics

Hello. I am selling a single Black RS7. I got a good deal for three of them and don't need the third. I am second owner of this speaker. It has 2 little dents on the front that aren't noticeable and it has 2 screw holes on the bottom from previous owner mounting brackets to them. They don't affect the sound. Thanks for the replies. I will probably go to 7.1 in the near future. Right now I have 2-RS 25 that I can use them for 7.1 or should I try to find a single RS7 to match the rest of the speakers or Try to find a pair of RB75s. Which way to go. ray

Hey Guys and Girls. I was just wondering if 7.1 or 6.1channel is worth it. Right now I have a 5.1 setup with the RF7 lineup. I recently got a good deal on 3 RS7 to complete my setup and was thinking about selling the third RS7 or maybe trying to find a single RS7. If I do go to 6.1 or 7.1, I will need to purchase a another 2 channel amp. Its about 70/30 for movies/music. How many movies out there are in 6.1 or 7.1. So, is it worth the money to go 6.1 or 7.1. I have a Rotel RMB 1095 and a Rotel RSP 1068 running my system. Thanks, Ray

Hey everybody. I was thinking of getting the Oppo Upconversion DVD player. How much of a difference will upconversion make. I have a 42" HD ready projection tv and a ok sony 5 disc dvd player right now. Is it worth it? I know that HDdvd/blu-ray is coming out soon, but how long will the format wars go on? Take a look at the Bello AVS 425. I recently purchased it about a month ago at best buy. You will have to check the specs to see if the stand will handle the weight on top for your tv. I have a 42" rear projection on it and the RC 7 underneath on middle shelf. The RC 7 just fits. My amp and pre amp on the bottom shelf. I might be pushing the wieght limit. LOL. Ray

Hello All, I am thinking about upgrading to a Rotel 1068 pre amp. Right now I am using a 5 channel 200 watt rotel amp and a HK 630 reciever. Should I stick with Rotel or can I mix and match. I was also looking at sunfire, B&K, Aragon. I was also wondering if I should wait a little longer and see if and new formats/ technology will be incorporated in the new pre amps that might come this year or next. Any suggestions would help. Hey Deep, is it still under warranty. I had that problem too when I first got my HK 630 and I returned it for a new one. I didn't find out what the problem was. Did you try calling HK?

Hello all, I have a used pair of Klipsch RP5's for sale. Both woofers are creased and I don't know what caused them. I got the speakers this way. I am the second owner. They sound ok to me. I will post images when I get a chance. Please let me know if your interested. I do not have the boxes, but will double pack them for shipping. One of the pins on the grills are broken but the grill stays on. I will also throw in an extra speaker grill. Looking to get around $500 or best offer. Shipping will be around $120 to $150. Thanks. Hey RayoVac, I recommend going separates and save a little more and get something that has 200 wpc. Buy the amp now and then upgrade the reciever to a pre-amp later . Right now I got a 200 wpc rotel in and am using it with my HK reciever. You can hear the clarity at higher volumes. My HK still gets warm though. This is my first time going towards separate. and I am liking it so far. LOL

Hey all, I just got my Rotel Rmb 1095 and Rsp 985 in today and don't have a chance to set it up yet. Man the 1095 is heavy! This is my first time going separates. I was wondering, is it ok to stack the 985 on top of the 1095? Would putting fans on top of the 985 while its on the 1095 help? Or I should separate them and give the 1095 more room and put the fans directly on 1095. Thanks all. Ray
