Is someone working on upgrading the app to work with ICS and Jelly Bean?

I know that the current Klipsch app for Android is not compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0x). So which version of this headphone is recommended for the Motorola Razr Maxx which gives you phone and volume control? At a minimum, I'd like volume control even if the phone controls don't work. Or, is there another model I should be looking at? Thanks.

I mounted my new RS-35s with the Omniport 10.0 wall mounts last night. The mounts are not large, however I put a pair of rubber bumpers on the lower edge of the speakers and rested them on the wall facing down toward my listening area. For me... they worked out fine. However, if you intend to use the mounts to hold the RS-35s away from the wall at whatever angle you'd care to use... I don't think they're strong enough. They are also quite short. So there isn't allot of room to angle the speakers since they're so large. If you're really looking for mounts to HOLD the speakers away from the wall... you may want to look into the 20.0 version. One note... the shaft from the 10.0 does match the screw insert on the RS-35's. However, I found that one of the RS-35s that I bought did not have the hole drilled and completed in the back of the cabinet. What a PITA! And, since I purchased these online (BrandNamez)... I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning them and getting replacements. The Omnimounts do come with an option to use the keyhole mount. I used this for mounting the defective speaker. Hope this info helps.

I sent a msg to Klipsch Customer Support this morning to ask if the Omnimount 10.0 were sufficient with the RS-35's. Here's the reply I got a few minutes ago: 'Yes the Omnimount 10.0 is fine to use with the RS-35.' Looks like I'll give them a try too. I think they're about $32 each at Radio Shack. Good luck!

Has anybody had any experience with wall mounts for the Klipsch RS-35s (or RS-3s)? My mounting location for both side speakers (7.1) is too high and I need some way to angle them down toward the listening area. I'm looking at Omnimount as one option. Their model 10.0 is supposed to be for speakers up to 10 lbs. The RS-35s are listed at 9.6 lbs. I would assume that Omnimount threw in some margin for error over their recommended weight? The threaded, steel shaft (with 1/4"-20 thread) should fit the Klipsch threaded mount. However, Omnimount's recommendation for the RS-3s was to go with the model 20.0. Unfortunately, that shaft won't fit the Klipsch mount. Maybe the speaker plate will line up with the keyholes? Any experience you've had (or alternate suggestions) would be appreciated.

My wife mentioned this morning the "quality" of his comedy... never nasty, never obscene. Wish the TV world would take note. No wonder our children are growing up with attitude.

How about using the speaker mounting plate that comes with the 20.0 ? Will it mount on the RS-35's using the keyholes?

Omnimounts website recommends the 20.0 version for the RS-3s. I'd assume it would be the same for the RS-35's? Does anybody know if the wall plate will mount to a standard electrical box? Thanks!

OH.. one more thing... The TX-NR801 and TX-SR702 are rated comparably and when I A/B'd them in the showroom matched up sound for sound. I just didn't feel the need for the networking feature.

I've spent a great deal of time over the past couple of months bringing home and testing the following with my Klipsch RF-3's, RC-3, RS-35s and Boston PV700 sub HT system: Onkyo TX-SR602 and TX-SR702 Yamaha RX-V1500 Harman Kardon AVR430 Elite VSX-54 I found the Yamaha a little harsh (after listening to it for some time) and lacking in the lows and mids at low volume. The Harman Kardon sounded great, but is a real pain to setup. If other family members were to use it on there own... they'd be lost. And the remote flat out sucks! The Elite lacked clarity on instrumentals. Not bad... but not detailed. The Onkyo TX-SR602 and TX-SR702 provided the best balance of sound for music and home theater. And... they're easy to use. The winner: Onkyo TX-SR702 for its ease of use and finely detailed sound. It is smooth in all areas and provides all of the HT options (including THX Select) anyone could ask for.

I see the difference in drivers and specs... but has anybody compared sound quality between these? Thanks.

Here's a question regarding the setup up my surround speakers in a dedicated HT room. My seating area in the room is up against the rear wall. At the moment, I have side surrounds (Klipsch SS-1s) slightly in front of the seating position (5.1). Although they are probably too high and need to be moved down. My understanding is that they should be about 3 feet above the listener? Would I benefit from adding rear surrounds (7.1) to the back wall even though they would only be about 3-4 ft from the listening area? If so, should I match them to the side surrounds? Or, would I be better served in getting better quality side surrounds to match my front (RF3s & RC3) speakers? As of now, I'm planning on getting a pair of RS-35's for the side and moving the SS-1's to the rear. But if I don't gain much... is it worth it? Any help you can give would be appreciated.

If you're interested... I'll be selling my pair of SS.5 surrounds to upgrade and match with the rest of my system. I'll put them on eBay tomorrow unless somebody wants them today for $150, plus shipping? They are in new condition. I also have a KSC-C1 center channel that's new condition going on eBay tomorrow night. Same deal... $150, plus shipping and it's yours.
