    BBQ/Smoker ???

    In cider, or inside her?
  3. Thanks for selling them. I had no idea you'd actually take the $50, but you did double your money, so I think YOU'RE the winner...
  4. Very simply, this is called stealing. It's just what they do.

    BBQ/Smoker ???

I do it all for you, dtel! I'm not much of a joke teller (mostly because I can't remember them) but I do have a few. You come up with them all the time! I love 'em!

    BBQ/Smoker ???

Three moles were travelling down their tunnel, when the first one stops, sniffs, and says "I smell sugar!" The second one stops, sniffs and says, "I smell honey!" The third one bumbs into the other two, sniffs and says, "I smell mole asses."

    BBQ/Smoker ???

Wait one durn minute! I said something useful??
  8. Jim, I wonder why the trigger guard has that "point" on it, and not rounded. Seems that might get hung up on a holster.
  9. I don't know, Jim. I've seen Donald get pretty darn agitated. I'd wait until he's in season, though.
  10. What's there to disagree with? I just expressed how I feel. I'm the #1 expert on that. []
  11. I never felt the need for a carry permit, nor have I ever been out and about wishing I had a gun close at hand. My dad had a concealed weapon permit, but I think he was mostly concerned with empty beer cans that might surprise him that he'd have to "plink." So if any of you run into me either on the street or at a pilgrimage, know that I'm unarmed. Well, except for my wits. I might be screwed.

    BBQ/Smoker ???

Single viscosity only! That would be a smooth move...

    BBQ/Smoker ???

Maybe add some molassess to it?
  14. I left about as many as I bought. There was a nice Ovation gee-tar for 265 that I keep thinking about. Might be nice to have a nylon string to go along with my Martin. Might be nice to have a spare 265, too.
  15. seti, You'd love the LPs I picked up yesterday at a sidewalk sale in front of a thrift store. 8 vintage belly dancing records, one Willie Bobo, an Andre Segovia, a Poco MFSL, and a SEALED Gordon Lightfoot MFSL from '78. Not bad for $9.60!

    Boring

Bruce, I've been in research mode. I've got a lot of ideas to try out! I was sent a copy of the PL-41 service manual, which only had exploded views and parts lists, and had the parts I'm working on listed as as an assembly. I'll try some options tomorrow.
  17. But I just hate to do things twice. It drives everyone crazy.
  18. That's a darn good idea, Keith! Let's see, if I sold ten of them, I'd probably be paying myself about $4/hour for the time and money I've already invested in this dumb project...Will you be my manager??
  19. On Clipped & Shorn's suggestion, I called Kevin at KAB. He actually has one of these turntables, but has never taken apart of serviced the cueing mechanism. Heck of a nice guy, though!

    Boring

Check out my piston thread in technical. It's a nail-biter and a butt-clencher, all in one!
  21. Here's the cyinder with the piston in. With the cap on, it sits a bit deeper (the cap pushes against the retaining clip). When it is all assembled and upright, the bottom of the side hole is approximately at the level of the middle of the lowest disc. This makes me think that maybe the side hole IS a filling port, or a drain port if one overfills the chamber and allows the excess to drip out. Is this clear? Basically, if the oil level is at the bottom of the hole, the bottom disc is submerged in oil (at its lowest point of travel). Does this make sense?
  22. A couple more photos and notes. Here's the cylinder cap, the side that contacts the cylinder rim.
