  1. Thanks for all your input. I bought the stuff on parts express.
  2. I have a pair of KSP-S6's which are finished with black vinyl on the top and bottom. Exposure to the sun has caused the vinyl to start ot delaminate/shrink along the top edge of the speaker cabinets. What would be some recommended repair strategies to fix this.
  3. I installed a Middle Atlantic Slim 5-43 rack. Since I have access to the back of the rack there was no need to go with one of the more elaborate models. They are nice, but add substantially to the final unit cost. I attached a picture of the installed rack.

  5. I am going to post this up for other that maybe looking for the same information in the future. I wanted info on how to Omnimount a pair of RB-75s. I did not want to have to drill into the box on the RB-75's to mount the Omnimount brakets. So this is what I did. On the bottom of the RB-75s are two 1/4" mounting holes. I used some 1 x 6 oak board to fashion a plate to fit on the bottom of the speaker. I mounted the oak board to the speaker via the two mounting holes using 2 torx bolts that are used in furniture assembly. I picked these up at Lowes. These are handy because they have a flat head that requires a torx driver to install. The flat head means there is no interference with the Omnimount bracket. I then attached the Omnimount bracket to the oak boards with four 5/16" x 1" lag screws with two lock washers on each screw. I added the lock washers to ensure the lag screw wouldn't penetrate the oak boards into the speaker. I bottom mounted the speaker using WBX 60 pound rated Omnimounts. Works like a charm and are solid as a rock.
  6. As much as I would like to you to buy the KV-4 I have listed on E-bay it is not going to be a good match for your current speaker setup.
  7. I have searched the forum and found a few dated posts that discussed using Omnimounts with RB-75s. Now that any of you using this type of setup have had some run time with it would you recommend it to someone else? Thanks in advance.
  8. I just had my SW-15 amplifier section rebuilt by Klipsch at their facility in Arkansas. I was charged a flat fee of $240.00 and it was a six week turnaround. Sub is now working again like when it was new over 10 years ago.
  9. Thanks for the response and help. I would have never thought to set it up this way. What is the technical reason for having the rear facing the living area vs the front. bob
  10. Can a SW-15 be flush mounted into a wall and still provide decent bass. Back of recessed speaker will be open to a large walk in closet.
