  1. I will certainly agree with everyone that all in all Spring is off to a Beautiful start. My vote is a little off the edge, but anything by "The Rockbottom Remainders" Enjoy!
  2. Lil' bro' CONGRATS on the 'new' khorns! I hope you have as much enjoyment listening to them as you had heartaches and headaches rebuilding them. By the way since I was 'invited' to see them in their state of disrepair, I anticipate another 'invitation' when you finally have them set-up the way you want them and are finished (what am I saying, you never get finished with this hobby, do you?) with both your HT and 2 Channel listening areas. By the way, does this mean no more late night/early morning, phone calls, e-mails and IM's? Enjoy them! Dad would be proud and you certainly deserve it. Bob
  3. DJ MIKE, While I would agree that an all Heresy II set-up would be optimum, I have successfully (read that as Cost vs WAF vs Good Sound) been using the system noted below for a number of years. I am currently upgrading to an Aragon Stage One and hope to add several Nakamichi PA-7's as well as a Sunfire sub (bass hasn't been a problem for me, but WAF says more lower end for both HT and 2 channel, like me, she's into 'rock') to round out what is already a great system. Best of luck with your choice!
  4. Add me to the crowd, I have a C7 in my Home Theater and have enjoyed it in combination with my Heresy II's for some time. I hope you have as much luck with yours as I have had with mine!
  5. Ok, after mulling it over during the night, and having read your $3 bill message, I think I'd have to vote for Kohill's original thought as it is the most logical one. Thomas Jefferson having been twice carved onto Mt. Rushmore (something to do with the rock not being suitable the first time) and being the face on your $2/$1 = $3 bill, well it does make sense doesn't it. Good Luck!
  6. Sorry Everyone, Apparently when I entered the links they changed and became dead ends. Here are the fixed (I hope) links along with a drawing showing the "5th Face" www.nationalreview.com/comment/conway200409141022.asp http://www.ancestorsart.com/30.htm http://www.roadsideamerica.com/pile/200307.html
  7. Sputnik, .....by jove, I think you're on to something there....nice work!
  8. Dodger, Try these on for size: While not taking issue that Crazy Horse is the 5th face of the Black Hills, where Mt. Rushmore is located, it is Ben Black Elk, a Lakota Indian who is traditionally known as the "Fifth Face of Mount Rushmore" for his efforts as the "...driving force behind popularizing Mount Rushmore as a Black Hills vacation destination." In fact, an award is named after him for those efforts. See: www.ancestorstart.com/30.html www.roadsideamerica.com/pile/200307 As for the "Three Dollar Bill" during the 1860's many 3 dollar bills existed as issued by various local banks, however the most recent mention is in this article regarding CBS News' Dan Rather and his reporting about President Bush having 'evaded the draft' quoting an alleged bribe using three dollar bills with none other than "Former President Bill Clinton's portrait on them" See: www.nationalreview.com/comment.conway200409141022.asp I trust these will be helpful to your wife, by the way, no charge, I'm Silversport's brother and it would be unethical, besides I enjoyed the search.
