  2. Great pictures John -- thanks! Stuart aka Bill J.

  4. Great pictures Ross. I can't believe you guys stopped at the University of New Mexico. You really did make it a 'road trip'. Bill J.
  5. I failed to get a photo of the trains. However, I did get pics of the cardboard speaker models and they are posted in my pictures. I think I overheard someone say that Mr. Paul call these his paperdolls Bill J.
  6. I have been very happy with my Denon DVM-3700 which I use for both DVD and CD playback. I purchased the unit in May, 2000. The DVM-3700 is expensive. It has superior sound to my Pioneer Elite CLD 53. However, the Denon will not play CD-Rs or CD-RWs by design. So if you intend to play these type disk this player is not recommended. I agree with Ray knowing now that players are in a transitory to truly multi-play units. I have heard the SACD and it is awesome. I probably would not have spent as much on this unit. Other than it limitations play CD-Rs and CD-RWs, it is a great player. The carousel is a very nice feature. Bill J.
  7. Great Pictures Ross. Thanks for sharing. I agree that the Picture at Klipsch School of Computers and Electronics is terrific. Bill J.
  8. Hi Matt, welcome to the board. I saw you post on your music. I can hardly wait. It was a pleasure meeting and visiting with you. Bill J.
  9. Colin, the factory and Museum are not large. They do not have the facilities to accommodate a large crowd. Our group of 12 was probably a comfortable size for them. You can see from the photos that the Klipsch museum is very small. The factory is much larger but still not large enough to accommodate a large group. It does not appear commercial at all. It looks more like a family owned business. I did learn that the Klipsch folks bend over backwards to be helpful and supportive to their customers. I think what they did for us is a very positive example. This company will always have my loyalty. I do not think you will find any other company in the world like it. I will be putting some names with the photos this weekend. Some of the local people from the Chamber of Commerce I do not remember their names. There was also a couple that accompanied us that were personal friends of the Klipsch's. Maybe some of the others can help me because I do not remember all the names other than the KFC folks. Bill J.
  10. Hi guys, I have uploaded the photos. I apologize for not placing captions under each picture. To do that would take more time and thought you might want to see what I have. I will make an attempt to caption some of the photos this weekend. To view go here: http://photos.yahoo.com/willjam_99 Enjoy Bill J.
  11. You will also need a Sound Level Meter, catalog no. 33-2050 from Radio Shack. This is the analog model which is the preferred device. I have heard that Radio Shack has discontined this particular model, but you may luck out and find one in stock. Just a general observation, it sounds to me you have your center and surrounds volume way too high. The meter and and the disk will help you get the result you desire. Bill J.
  12. E-mailed measurements, but posted here for general knowledge: 1)Floor to TV top: 44" 2)Seated ear height: 38" 3)Ear to TV: 10'
  13. Doug you certainly captured my feelings with your post. It was a truly awesome human experience. Trey Cannon, Jim Hunter, Phil Hatch and Paul & Valerie Klipsch are indeed class acts. Their warmth and hospitality are without equal. I will attempt to gets some of my pictures posted somewhere for everyone to see. Bill J.
  14. Steve, I could not have said it better. I'm still trying to get myself back on the ground after a truly great weekend. I hope to have my pictures uploaded tomorrow. I will post the URL. Bill J.
  15. I'm bringing the digital camera also and looking forward to a great time. There should be lots of pictures of the group and the plant. I think it is a wonderful opportunity. Bill J.
