  1. If you'd piece off I'd be interested in the KLF 30s, Im local too
  2. Let me know if you figure it out, I might be interested in KLF 20s
  3. Well I already have the KLF10s and the KLF-C7, and I'd rather stick to the Legend series. I really like their sound, they're just a bit hard to find at times
  4. They would be in chicago XP. I have a set of KLF10s, if I got 20s, the 10s would go on surround duty.
  5. Hi just wondering if you guys can give me a fair going price for KLF20s. They are said to be in excellent shape with minor imperfections. I was asked to make an offer but I have no idea whatsoever what they are currently going for and dont want to insult the seller or rip myself off. Thanks for any help!
  6. Oh my god.... I'm such an idiot. When you asked that my first reaction is was, "what is he talking about fiber optic.... no way is there an output for that?" .... *runs to PS2 picks it up, smacks self in forehead* Doh! I never knew that port existed back there, well im sure it'll sound much better now XP, thanks for making me look!
  7. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll do some research on both your suggestions. On the PS2, lol guess you caught that huh? Surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would, its a bit noisy though, signal isn't too clean. The Klipsch seem to bring it out more. I had a pretty plain Sony dvd player hooked up to it a while ago and it was much better, but my sister needed emergency surgery and was bed ridden for a few weeks and didn't have a dvd player in her room. So I gave mine to her. Which gives me an excuse to go out and find a new much better one! However I'm left to suffer with a PS2 for a while till I pick one out :/
  8. There it is, a character from a webcomic I read regularly. chugworth.com
  9. Here's my modest setup, I wish I had the room that some of you guys have. I'm kinda pressed for space here, hence the weird setup. Its a work in progress, as I'm a recent graduate with no spare income , just thought I'd contribute to this thread. So be nice Oh yes any recommendations on a good DVD/CD player?
  10. Wow thanks for the info about the Roxio incompatability. I had a defective burner and had thought it was my nero software that was screwy with it, so I tried out roxio, turns out that my burner's laser was screwy. So I got it replaced and since roxio was what was left on it, its what I used, but had some problems with it hanging and other really weird problems. So I ended up using Alcohol 120% to copy cd to cd. So if you guys say nero is better, I'll try reinstalling Nero 6. Is that version anygood? I have something like Nero 6 Ultimate? or Platinum or some such name.
  11. Oh reason it took me 4 years to get my receiver for the speakers was that I fell in love with McIntoshes after auditioning them at a local Audio Consultants. Then the pricetag on it almost floored me. I figured I'd make it a goal, so I saved a bunch through my college years and came across a great deal on ebay from a Florida estate sale. Almost 50% off the retail I would have paid for a new one, so I was happy. Thanks for the tip on the KLF20s and 30s as mains and switching out the 10s to rears, I've actually been on the look out for them, but once again the money thing so I'll be saving up over this summer and hopefully come across a nice deal on a pair sometime I guess your system wouldn't have done much good without electricity huh?
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5790099134&category=61378&ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1 The pair of KLF-20s are back with the KLF-C7 are back again, local pickup again though. Oh just wanted to say that KLF-C7s popup on ebay all the time. I managed to snag mine last week, got a mint condition one for a buy it now for $299 with 40 shipping. I just got it and it truly is in mint condition too, I thought it was a deal so I couldn't pass it up. I currently own a pair of KLF 10s that just got unpacked from their original boxes this year. I bought them when they were on closeout like 4 years ago but never had the money for the receiver I wanted till now. They are currently paired up to my McIntosh MHT100 that I snagged from an estate sale. Had I known more about the Legend series when I bought the 10s I probably would have bought the 20s or 30s at the time, but I was only 19 at the time :/ Nevertheless I'm thrilled with the ones I have now, just looking for a pair to finish off the surround now. I hope this helps you finish your setup too!
