IMHO bass produced by a folded horn is superior to bass produced by a cone (faster, tighter, more accurate).

Perhaps just not the top-of-the-line? All kidding aside, do you really think the LaScala goes as low as a Khorn; or just that the LaScala is a better speaker all around?

The the Khorn, Belle and LaScala all have a folded horn woofer, so they are more similar than they are different. The Khorn reaches to ~32 Hz, though, and the Belle and LaScala only get down to ~50Hz.

I just picked up one of the Teac 3 channel amps but I only want to use it for 2 channel listening. Is is OK to use this thing without hooking anything up to the center channel output? TIA!

The power supply in a receiver is also being shared by the preamp section and the tuner section. The power supply in an amp is there for the amp alone...mono-blocks are better yet! []

I'd make sure the trailer has a tie-down rail and I'd take some rope or nylon strapping to tie them down with. I wouldn't want them bouncing/sliding around all the way home! []
