  1. Billya real pleasure meeting you. They hooked up yet?
  2. Very Nice Klipsch CF1s for sale because I do not have the room. In Tampa Bay area. These won't last long.
  3. Seems you have me confused with someone else. FlaSon maybe?
  4. Hmmm. Really. Can you point me to it?
  5. https://www.facebook.com/groups/stpetersburgbuyselltrade/permalink/2503295956596521/?sale_post_id=2503295956596521 The speakers are Med Oak. My fault. The guy on usaaudiomart is listing my speakers while trying to negotiate to buy them. They were made in 95. I figure ver 3. They are no longer for sale as I decided to keep them and sell my CF-1s. I do NOT blame anyone on the Klipsch forums for the misinformation. I do blame the guy running the ad for trying to sell something he didn’t own. Have a great Klipsch day. FlaPapa Florida Papa
  6. Okay sorry it took me so long to get back on this but due to some RL issues ... Well I am not by any means an audiophile. I am goin on 52 and have abused my hearing to no end with everything from live loud music to parking jets. That being said this combo sounds wonderful. Very dynamic sound. The room is totally quiet except when playing the source material. Now here is my quandry. As much as I enjoy what I am hearing or not hearing as the case may be. Is it worth close to 2k to me. Don't get me wrong I am really happy with both the prepro and the amp. There is no lack of quality here. I still have a couple of weeks left on my 30day evaluation. I will let you know what I decide.
  7. Got my new Outlaw 990/7125 combo installed last night. My first time with serperate components I was blown away. More info coming. Gotta go listen some more![]
  8. I pulled the trigger today. Thanks in part to the review done here. 990 and 7125 I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve![]
  9. I was gonna offer ya mine but I would have to go ask the wife for em.[:$]
  10. I for one am very interested in hearing more. I have an Outlaw 1050 and am very close to making the jump to the same setup as yours.[]
  11. While the memoribilia is nice, what really interested me is the music. This stuff is from the original concerts. Most likely recorded from the soundboard connections. It's not some smuck in the 6th row with a tape recorder. What I was told was some of this stuff has never been released to the public before this site.
  12. I was told about it yesterday and went to the site first thing this morning. I haven't been the same since.. Enjoy the music feed![8] http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/ Joe D.
  13. Thanks Flason. I have been following that auction.
  14. [8-)] Hmmm A-Cooo-Stix is that something I would use to smack a pigeon ? Really I know the layout isn't the best. I will post more detailed pictures soon. But I am clueless as to what I would be getting to adjust the acoutics. As far as wife acceptability well that depends. The room demensions are 17.5 x 13.75. Display is along the 13.75 wall am was thinking of switching it but not sure that is even possible. As for toeing in the speakers just how far? do I literally want them aiming at the sweet spot? Hmmm my old 901's didn't need that! (Cough) j/k).[]
  15. Going to try to add a pic of the Ht as it stands now. Let me know if you can see it please.
  16. Colin, Profile updated a bit. More info to come after I get a chance to measure room. Heck as close as you are grab a tape measure and get over here! [] Music tastes are varied same with movies. I do lean towards stuff in DTS for the hotter sound I guess I would call it. The $1000 budget includes used prices. I think the biggest thing holding me back is if I am gonna spend that kinda money I want to know without a doubt that the improvement will be worth it.
  17. The 1050 does have preouts. Are he QSC RMX and PLX lines Klipsch??
  18. Well I have a thirst for more power in my HT. Right now I am running an outlaw 1050 6.1 receiver that I am happy with for processing it has 65wpc at 8ohms but think I need more power to open up the soundstage of my CF-4's and CF-1's. Budget 1k cheaper is better and will most likely never go beyond 5.1 Any help sugesstions would be appreciated.
  19. I actually thought of that before submitting but since most films win awards of one kind or another. "best advance in left handed props" And darn it LOTR Trilogy extended version is amazing!
  20. Spikes arrived and installed. Now to calibrate.
  21. In no paticular order.. Tombstone (Has to be Val Kilmers best role as Doc) Caddyshack 1 Revenge of the Nerds 1 Matrix 1 LOTR 1-3 extended versions back to back on a long weekend with the system cranked!
  22. You can stick with outlaw and get either the 970 for $699 or the 990 for $1099. Sure the last one is over the 1k mark but check out the specs....[]
