  1. 1. Price 2. No sales tax 3. These things are reliable - I've never had a warranty issue with quality hi-fi gear. 4. There's always a market for stuff - why should I add the cost of overhead taxes and insurance that retail business have to cover? Just my 2 cents... []
  2. HOW SWEET IT IS! My new setup is all Klipsch: Front = Herseys Center = RC 25 Sub = RW 12 Rear = IC's Soo Cool this really cooks!
  3. Marantz! Have Marantz SR8400 = 110 watts x 7 the newer SR8500 = 125 watts x 7 Still building my HT setup- check out my system under my profile if you like;)
  4. I prefer banana plugs myself. Bare wire will oxadize and prefer them over inserting pins through the drilled hole in the binding post. Just my 2 cents.
  5. ROFLOL [] I prefer Miles Davis to the Eagles anyway... []
  6. [] LOL The demo at the Bose store was most disappointing and they couldn't even play the CDs I brought with me.
  7. Prices for Klipsch heritage speakers; i.e., Cornwalls, Herseys and Klipsch Horns. I'm looking for well cared for used equipment and need advice on how to value the products in the used market. Thank you in advance, Zak
  8. The inwall speakers might be IC650 s. I can't find the paperwork and can't read any markings on the front. There are 2 speaker cones on each end with the tweeter in the center. The Klipsch website doesn't have a picture posted of this line.
  9. The room is about 18' L by 20' W with a 14' high ceiling peak accross the long width of the room at the center. Mostly carpet except for the kitchen in the back left corner of the room is ceramic tile. There is a nook which exends out about 8' from the back right corner of the room. We have a 51" rear proj TV in the front center of the room and presently the Kg2s are abut 24" on either side of the TV. The TV and speakers are inset into a ferred wall accross the front of the room. There would be room to run speaker wire under the carpet and place the speakers in the corners. However the left front corner is not 90 degrees and the front right is 90 degrees. I listen to music 80% and need sound for movies 20%.
  10. Have Kg2s as front speakers since 1990. Looking to upgrade to Cornwall II s or Herseys Listened to other brands and came away disapointed... Have Klipsch in wall speakers for rear surround- mounted in the ceiling behind the seating area [which I purchased in 1997]. I recently purchased a Marantz 7 x 110 watts SR8400 Any suggestions? Thanks!
