Mine does the same thing. Also in the sub scene. I think Tenor is right. The sub is working real hard. Remember this is a 600 dollar sub and not a 2000 dollar sub. I am more than happy but if you plan on putting the sub through hell you may want to spend some more money.

Very nice set-up. I must admit that every time I see the rf-83 package I get green with envy. Between the 64 and 83s up front, it is just one impressive sight to behold. Between us I have the package picture as my wallpaper on my computer.

I also have kids, 3 of them. I was just remarried in January to a girl that is 25. I am almost 35. She wants Kids, but wants to wait 5 years. My idea was lets have a couple of dogs instead. We shall not go into the conversation that followed that statement. I too shall be having kids at 40/41 it seems so please keep me posted on how this is working out. I am already slowing down so the whole idea scares the hell out of me.

I have the rf-82s and I only have them sitting maybe 6" off the wall and they sound great. Rule of thumb from what Ive read is if you have a 4" port, you want them atleast 4" off the wall. I heard all the negative's when I started shopping for a home theater. I have never regretted the decision to buy Klipsch. I am 100% happy.

I have dealt with much adversity in my own life. And, 99% of it I have caused. That was what had to happen for me to ever regain a life worth living. I had to admit that my lifes decisions put me where I was. I then had to decide that since my lifes decision put me where I was, who was going to run my life. I have surrendered control of my life to police officers, judges, and corrections officers. I knew that was not the direction I wished to turn to for guidance. I had to have someone who was patient, kind, loving, and all powerful who would never do anything to harm me. That one was God. I cannot begin to list the things I have overcome since turning my will and life over to the care of God. It was not always easy, and at times I wondered if He was trying to kill me. But, I hung on in faith that He knew what was best for me. Every single time it has worked out better than I could have dreamed. It is not what the world teaches.....But true victory can only be achieved by complete surrender. Ill keep you in my prayers as will my wife. My favorite demo is the christmas day recon scene in Behind Enemy Lines. That played in DTS always gets oohhs and aahhhs from people. I have made plenty of wives mad at me for planting the theater bug in their husbands with that movie.

Actually at the time I had a symphonic 21", I have since upgraded to the Samsung 61" 1080p.

There's one last thing...Ive noticed the xbox360....They have been known to cause poor sound quality...I can give you my address and you can ship it this way and we can see if this helps!! Seriously, I have made some panels that dont look too poorly. I had to please the wife and follow the color scheme of the room. I have a lovely court appearance this morning but when I get back I will post picks.

So, I have the rw-12d sub. With it having its own volume control what should I set the sub at in order to get the proper level? In other words I would like to just control the sound with my receiver. I know its really just personal preference, but what do the pro's think? What's recommended? should I set it at 0 and leave it alone, or ???

I agree. Never use less than 12 gauge, and do it right. You can get copper speaker wire, 12 gauge, ul listed for about $50. I have monster only because the local radio shack was going out of business and I got a deal.

Not an audio company....Klipsch audio....That's like a 5 year old getting a good paying job playing with play-doo!!!

But, just the opposite is uttered everyday, many times over.

Even if you install ul listed wire, which everything Home Depot sells is ul listed and it burns down you are still not covered by insurance. If it is a fire started by something you did you are responsible. Most home owners policies require all upgrades(electrical/low voltage) to be done by a licensed electrician or installer.

I like them on for the simple reason....shit happens more often than not....so better safe than sorry.

Well, my life has been quite the roller coaster with most of my time on the low end. I made some very poor choices that entitled me to be a ride along with the plummer. At 30 I finally pulled my head out of my *** and went to trade school(electrician), but I was tired of working on homes that I could never afford. I was laid off and now I am in college for the first time at age 35. Quite the accomplishment considering I never made it through the 9th grade. I have made the presidents list every semester to top it all off. I tell kids to go to school and hang with the winners.

12 gauge is great for carrying any current up to 100ft., any run longer than 100ft you should jump up to 10 gauge. This is not my opinion, but the NEC(national electrical code). There is no code for low voltage in any state that I have worked so really its up to you since its not carrying 120 volts. I think you can pick up 100ft. for like $40.00 at home depot. Dont worry about fire rating. Residential does not call out for plenum rated or fire rated speaker wire.

Don't be silly, get the 64. My 62 sounds great, but that 64 is just one impressive piece of equipment. Or, you could just buy another 83 and lay it on its side!!![]
