If you have a KSW-10 it should not have a plastic cover on the back of the amp...Are you sure of the product you have?
I don't remember that sub having the plastic, where the KSW-200 and 300 did.
If you got a new amp, with a different part number than the one from the production unit, then you may have more of an issue than with the plastic.
The thing is now, the amps we use do not need the plastic as the rules have changed and the new amp is built different.
So confirm the unit you have, confirm the part numbers on the two amps and make sure the new amp will fit the hole in the cabinet.
If it will, put it in with no plastic and enjoy!
If not, contact customer service and try to get the right one.

If you have thought about making the trip to Hope, Ar. This June would be a fine time to do so. We will have lots to show and give away.

OK,
First let me say that when you remove the network you loose the voicing Klipsch engineers chose for the speaker. Your choice, but not suggested.
Xover point is 2k
HF is 2nd order
LF is 4th order
There were 3 revisions of the network schematic.

Check the jumpers on the input...make sure the woofers are working...
Call Steve Phillips in tech support and he can talk you through finding the issue.

The 2011 Pilgrimage / Klipsch music festival just received a cool addition. We will be bringing the Klipsch / OCC chopper to the event. We are also putting together a ride in and bike show. We will give prizes to the "best in show" with the picks being narrowed down by judges and the final winner picked by the audience.
If you ride, bring your bike if you like. Enter or ride or both...We have had contact with a few bike builders and may have some award winning rides there.
We have the entire fair park reserved so there should be plenty of parking.
Contact me with any questions.

you only have 1/2 of each speaker.
together the parts make a pair of speakers that should be worth around $1000 +
I couldn't put a price on just the bass horns.

Main thing is don't light the Clip Indicator Light (Red). If a person is causing the Red clip light to activate (trying to get more loudness from the system) then the Output Channel Level's should be increased (but not so high as to drive the output channels into clipping either).

Cool I was right...solid +3dBu

Looking at the specs, I say set it to a "solid +3dBu"

Ok...no speaking for Klipsch...just for myself.
I don't care for harmonic distortion, even or odd...
I know what I like and if you were to set a Klipsch speaker system in place of the speakers shown in earlier pictures you could do the same or better job for less cash.
There are things I like about many of the klipsch lines over the years. I agree, the Jubilee done right is about the best sounding speaker I have ever had the honor to hear.
It took PWK a lot of time to get to that speaker. It took a lot of other engineers a lot of time to help provide PWK with the data he needed to get there. Get there he did.
the point of diminishing returns...its different for most everyone.

Hi Trent,
This will be my first exposure to the Pilgrimage, I have been following all posts and have many questions! I have listed a group of (3) with Amy Unger, that will be attending the festivities in Hope this year, we have all been Klipsch Heritage speaker owners for decades! If you could be so kind as to help us navigate through the details that are expected to get us there in one piece, It would be very much appreciated. We are leaving from Chicago, destined for Hope, Arkansas. Is there an Itinerary available to follow, so as to keep the confusion to a minimum?
Many Thanks,
Mchael
Hey Michael,
Its all easy...jump on 57/55 south until you hit 40W....hang a left on 440 to 30 and exit on #31. Hotels are on your right....Not sure, but think I will be at the supper 8.
Friday night most of the guys get together and hang out and listen to music on as many systems as they can.
Sat morning about 9am we meet at the plant for tours and demos...then head out to lunch.
About 3 or so we will fire up the pro gear at the festival. the show will go until about mid night. After party info to come later.
Sunday, we may go for a motorcycle ride as others head home.
Chi town is about 14-16 hr from Hope. Be sure to watch you gas gage on I-55 close to the river...there is not much out there and few gas stops.
the farm house is a house that a local bank owns and rents out for events.
As the date grows closer there will be maps and contact list sent out.

If you guys don't want the place, I will save the money and not rent it.

I booked the "Farm House" for Friday night for you guys to use if you want.
The supper 8 has a room as well and they are offering rooms at a good rate. Some with frig and microwave.
The local club will have live music and has extended an invite to any of you what are 21 and up to stop by.
More info to come ....
I would like someone to take the rains of the Friday night "thing" as I will have my hands full.

That's why I like this place...the folks here are always ready to help a guy out.
Thanks Team!

Good advise. The bad part is there are no woofers left. I know of no correct replacement.

I would ask where you got this unit...as the only units that did not have a tuner are the ones built for overseas sales. They use a different tuner than the US, so no tuner was added.
