Jeez... I miss the prices this stuff, and others, could be bought for 10 to 15 years ago.
No joke! I picked my black Cornwall II’s for $400 and walnut Heresy II’s for $300 around 2007.

So far it’s been a great combo! Plenty of power, menu easy interface, and plenty of inputs.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but after applying rejuvenating oil, is there a product that you use as the final coat or just wait 48-72 hours and plug them back up?

Good to know. I think I’m going to opt for the better stereo performance.
Thanks!

Thanks for the responses everyone!
Any reason to think that the Marantz SR5013 would be a better option? The price is about the same.

Hey everyone -
I think I may be over thinking this way too much at this point, so I need a little guidance on a receiver that'll work in my 2.1 setup. I looked heavily at the Marantz NR-1200 because it seems to hit every checkbox, but then when chatting with customer service at Accessories4Less, the gentleman made it sound like that receiver wouldn't do well with the Heresy's. His recommendation was the Denon DRA-800H, but I'm nervous about the preout and input limitations on that model. When researching it seems that a lot of people recommend Yamaha and Marantz.
I've listed some info below that may help with suggestions.
2.1 Setup:
- Heresy II
- SVS sub
- 50/50 music and streaming movies/tv
Need:
- Phono Input (MM)
- Remote control ability
- Sub Out
- Preouts (for possible amp upgrade down the road)
Want:
- HDMI (if possible, but not a deal breaker)
Room size:
- 14 x 15
Budget:
- ~$500
- Used, refurb, or new does not make a difference
Thanks everyone. If this needs to be posted in a different forum please let me know. I though this would be appropriate since it's a 2.1 setup and Heritage speakers.

Awesome. Knew it had to be easier than I was thinking.
Thanks!

Does anyone sell the backer-board (probably using wrong verbiage) that I can attach new grill cloth to for Heresy II’s?
Or are there any suggestions on how to build this piece?
Thanks.

They’re in sale right now from Costco for $89 shipped.

Costco has the Klipsch T5 true wireless headphones on sale for $89 shipped.
I’ve has some frustrations with them at times, but they sound great. Did great for me when we were allowed to go to the gym. Also, they seem to do well with phone calls. The battery lasts forever and the case has built in charging.
Costco has a 90 day return policy if you just want to give them a try.

So, I’ve had my pair since late July and overall I’m happy with them. There is an occasional drop with the left side, but it’s not frequent. It is odd though since when I press the side button of the left ear bud, my phone will react, so it’s still connected, but not receiving an audio signal.
I have been very happy with the fit. I’m hoping Klipsch, or another company, releases additional tips at a reasonable price.
These earbuds get around 10 hours of use a week in the gym and the battery life has been phenomenal. I love how much charge the case holds. I’ve gone a few weeks between charging the case without any issues.
Speaking of the case, I did have to go through the warranty process already. The very left LED light on the case fell into the case. I noticed a rattling one day and upon further inspection saw that it was missing. The replacement was incredibly easy and fast.
If you have to file a warranty, I recommend reaching out to the Klipsch Instagram page. Shoot them a direct message you’ll get a response within 24 hours. They were excellent for me.
Hoping they release the app soon. Seems to keep getting pushed back.

It was supposed to be August. Heard from a developer that sometime in November is the new target. Frustrating to say the least.

Me personally, if I were ever to have any interest in the Fifteens, or similar for that size, they would need to be NON powered and not have BT connections, etc. Sell that stuff separately versus an all in one package. You lose a chunk of market share when you cater to a small segment of people that want an all inclusive speaker. I may be wrong on that but how much research did they do, over a wide spectrum age range, with people that preferred that style of setup? For a small pair of speakers, great. Big? Not so much.
Also, was not a fan at all of that two tone veneer.
Agree that they need to be non-powered speakers.

Anybody remember the almost made it to market two-way prototypes “The Fifteens”?
Call them a Chorus 3 or a Cornwall 4, either or, but THAT was the shape of things to come. Two way, tractrix, 15” woofer...
Here’s a crazy idea, instead of the powered, active option, how about a passive with TWO crossover frequency options in the same cabinet? ROCK (800hz) and SET (500hz). What’s another 700 bucks when you are several grand deep?
They were beautiful from the aesthetic standpoint too. Maybe optional glass tops so wifey can put plants on top!
Agree 100%!! I was very excited about The Fifteens.

I received mine last week. The sound is good. I have 1 main issue which morphs into 2. The large ear tips are too small for me. The buds simply fall out. That lead me to try one of the Comply foam tips (I typically buy these for my headphones/earbuds and have various ones around). I believe it is the T100 that works with these. Those work fine but then came the second issue. There is no room in the charger for larger foam tips. I have to remove the tips if I want to charge the buds and the removed tips won't fit loosely in the charger either. I feel this is a major oversite by charger designer … too much work to make it cool, but not enough to make it functional for some practical purposes.
I would guess this is true for all true wireless earbuds charging cases. Maybe they’ll release a home charging station in the future that could accommodate non-factory tips.
I will say that the case keeps them charged for an incredibly long time.

@Peter P. Thank you for sharing how it's working in your setup. I'm leaning towards going with the SVS SB-1000.
Definitely won’t be disappointed.

Thanks I saw that but I'd rather not start there esp if I don't wind up buying from them.
How come? If they have different models in-stock, you may realize you prefer something else. 🤷♂️
