Thanks for looking into that for me. That may work well as a center for the front. Do you think it would perform as well as an Academy speaker would? I'm hoping to eventually get another pair of Heresy's for the rear centers to make 7.1. Do you happen to have a link for that thread?

Since a few of you recommend putting them on the ground in a corner....... ....What would be the best placement for these speakers as surrounds?

Hey Guys - I picked up a pair of "new" Heresy II's for $185 and just wanted to share my joy with all of the Klipsch fans here. I have noticed the bass is a little weak, but that isn't a big issue since I will be using them as surrounds in the future. If anyone has any modifications they would like to share for these speakers just let me know.

Reminds me of the pair of Cornwall II's I picked up back in April. I found them on Craigslist for $400, black finish, and amazing condition. When I went to pick them up I was talking with the guy and he said he was kicking himself in the butt for not asking for more, since he had gotten so many offers for them. I think that is the best $400 I have ever spent. I love it when people don't realize how nice their gear really is and ask for nothing.

I'm wanting to go with a 4th Order Linkwitz-Riley crossover for them and actually pull the MF and HF horns out of the cabinet, seal it, and time align them on top.

Would any titanium diaphram work or is there a specific one that would be recommended? What about aluminum diaphrams? Any specifc ones out there that would make a good replacement? Also, would there be a good replacement for the HF diaphram as well? Does anyone have the frequency response for the HF horn on Cornwalls? Mine is the K-79-K 1" (2.54cm) Polymer diaphragm compression driver. Thanks everyone. Sorry for so many questions.

Does a damaged dust cap effect the sound in any way? Is there a way to replace them if it does hurt the sound? Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has measured the frequency response for the K-57-K MF horn from the Klipsch Cornwall II's? Also, is there a diaphram available that would extend the K-57-K's upper frequency to 15-20kHz? Thanks guys.

I use Marantz and I'm extremely happy with its performance so far! Check out Accessories 4 Less for refurb Marantz and Onkyo. I went through them and was extremely happy with their service and prices. They have the Onkyo TSXR 804 reconditioned with factory warrenty for $579.

Hey there! I'm new to the board to be kind to me please. My question is that I have a pair of Cornwall II's and I was wanting to make a home theater system with them as my mains. How will the Heresy line do as center and surrounds? Should I try to get the Heresy II's or does it matter? Also, what is a good site to find these speakers?
