I actually did strap my b-3's to the stand using velcro just for sanity sake. I am not so concerned about them falling as they are in corners away from traffic. I also used velcro staps and not the strips that have adhesive. did not want to get glue on the mdf. althought ymmv. good luck -ray

welcome to the forum... I have the B-3's and I use WC series stands from wood tech. can be found here www.wood-tech.com they are the WC series speaker stands. depending on the height they are a lil pricey but way cheaper than sanus and some others. also checking your local CL might yield some good possibilities.

I have the b-3 for my fronts and the sb-1's as my surrounds and they all sound great together. so to answer your question yes it will be ok to go with the b-2's for fronts. although if you twist my arm I may be willing to sell those sb-1's[] j/k good luck with the new system whatever you decide.

I think the 347 will be good to power the floorstanders but with a component amp you will get a new dimension from your 82's JMHO...btw I don't think you need anything other than the 347 but when the upgrade bug bites watch out.

I have auditioned lower end HK's and Onkyo's and I found the best SQ to come from the HK regardless of the power stated. I have a sneaking suspicion that you may want to upgrade to a amp to get more out of you system in the future so I thing the HK would be better. hth...

these two should play well together as they are part of the synergy line and are timbre matched. I would offer to take the S-1's off your hands if you decide to upgrade regardless. enjoy the synergy sound.. :-)

are you only looking for something to be on floors or stands? if so I would say get something best you can afford. if you are going to have a wall mount option would suggest the S-2 or better.
