of course out of the box an HD DVR only puts out 480i, it must be changed in the menu, and most installers don't bother to do it, but no big deal as they don't send an HDMI cable either.

I'm in Dexter, about an hour north of Waterville and an hour west on Bangor. Moved here from Miami about 6 years ago. Best thing we ever did. Yup, must be God's Country, people speak English. We are out in the country, bought a house on a lake sight unseen while we still lived in Miami. At that time I had never been to Maine..

Sounds like the set of klf-10 I just rebuilt, Check the front panel, and back panel, if neither on seems loose take out one of the drivers and feel around inside for a structual peice that has "come unglued"

Geez...... I think you guys are serious, I turned 40 this week and the last time I even heard an LP was when my mom played Elvis, on a real piece of crap player. I think it was the year he died. Am I missing something..... But of course if someone was to give me (haha) a "record player" (are they still called that? ) I have not seen an LP since I was a little kid........... That or all that stuff I did to erase my brain cells worked....

Try listening to some music, something you like. Report back. Could be in the movie sound effects.....

Also you have to realize that will HDMI, is a good system, as with any video signal. The direc route is the best route. Switching adds stuff that degrades the signal. Unless you need more inputs than your monitor has, leave it alone. Look to a programable remote..

All new klipsch will accept banana plugs. It's only the old stuff that need spade connectors.Unless it's something thats been modifyed....

I am running Khorns Right and Left with a Heresy center. I also have a Sunfire d-10 sub.
I have all speakers set to large, where should I set the cross over, I used to keep it at 80Hz, but I know the Khorns will go much lower.....
Running a Sherwood Newcastle p-965 preamp, if that matters...

You'll be happier with a reference series sub, Synergy is the mass market stuff. Also Sunfire, velodyne, and a few others do well with subs....

The 5800 goes a bit lower, down to 40hz, where the 5650 only goes to 52hz. But if your using a Sub it should'nt be an issue.. depending on sub settings.
If you do much 2 channel listening I would suggest going up to the KL-7800-THX for the power handling ability, for the fronts. the 7800 woudl make a good center also.
Also I have had a few customers who were very happy with the RT-10d

Is there any sonic differences between heresy, heresy II, and heresy III ? my khorns are 77 should I look for a similar year?

I just upgraded from KLF-30's to KHORNS, I was thinking I needed to get a LS center but just figured out I dont have the needed height under the screen.
So do I keep the KLF-C7 or should I think about the monster RC-64 or perhaps something else........

A simple stereo mini to rca adapter, then plug it into any system, it is just another input. Many receivers have a set of inputs in the front. Usally says video, plug it in there just don't use the yellow one.

Why are you guys doing firmware. Is there a benefit, or just thought you should? I installed one yeasterday for a customer Yahama receiver, Samsung plasma, batman begins movie, looks awsome!!!!
