I have heard a marantz 1060 and it does well. Plus it has a bass and midrange adjustments. I have one for sale now. I've seen them go for about $80.00

I just bought a pair of chorus 1's The speakers do not match. First I had to buy a set of new diaphragm's . Got the titanium's from bob crites. My speakers tweeters are 12 db in sound difference. It is not the amp or tweeters themselves as I have switched channels and even the tweeters themselves and the tweeters sound the same in each cabinet just at a lower level on one speaker. I can't tell for sure but the louder speakers tweeter sounds better to me. I am stuck with these speakers now and want to know what center to use? I was told klf c7 or heresy ??? I would lean toward the heresy if they match with chorus. Does anyone else have a different take on this. Marlan ps. I have cdt 3650 ceiling speakers in the back

Hi, everyone. I have calmed down now and I am going to the bank and put some money back. I think i'm going to try cornwall or chorus first. Save some look for a center channel. I really am glad that people are this nice about speakers. I think I am going to drive up to k.c. and take a listen. I might still want khorns again but maybe not. Thank you everybody. Marlan

No, The buy it now went away after I bid on them days ago. I bid $1,600.00 then $1,800.00 then $2,000.00 buy it now was gone when I bid $1,600.00 I still had a day left. Plus I got the loan yesterday. You just can't trust anything. I had contacted the seller twice already and got a response. I kept bidding to stay on top. I wasn't sure how much money I could get but I got it all yesterday. thanks for writing back

Hear is my story. You probably saw the khorns on ebay in texas. I was going to buy them having never heard khorns before. I got a large loan yesterday lined up a truck went to work came home and found out the seller ended the auction a day early. He had 99.9 feedback. I was heart broken, this all happend today. Now before I attempt to buy again i would like to hear some. Willing to travel! I really am sick about this. I had emailed the seller twice and was ready for my final big bid i already had high bid!!! Anyway I really am sick about it. I had talked to my wife about these for over two months khorns that is. I joined this forum to get some help and had been reading these forums for quite sometime. Anyway sour grapes I guess. So if anyone wants to show off khorns for me i'd like to hear them. Maybe someone near emporia kansas can give me a listen because I just found out I lost mine to ebay!!!!!! I had went and got a large loan yesterday lined out a truck to borrow for bringing them back. I had high bid on the speakers and was not going to lose them at all.. !!!!! The man selling had nearly 4000 feedback at 99.9 I have 600 myself. so I thought I was safe but he ended the auction early. They were 1994's so now i'm done my heart just fell through the floor. I had been reading these forums for two months and finally signed up and was ready to begin this. But now it's over.

Thank you. I was afraid I would not have enough room for klipschorns and nearly got some cornwalls. But if they don't work I guess I could sell them. I am going to need a center channel now. I was going to look for a rf-7 or klf-7 or rc-62 rf-3 ones like that. but now that I read another forum I suppose i'll look for a heresy and try to point it upward??? Thanks alot for you nice input! Hi, I am buying khorns and was wondering if anyone had some cd's they would recomend for me in showing off some of the sound. Buying khorns not having ever heard them before. I have 7.1 amp with klipsch speakers in the rear. I do not have a tube type amp. I do have a 9.1 integra amp. 135 watts per. Another question is: Do I need some special wires from the amp to the speakers such as: kimber cable? I have some 12 guage wire now. It is just plain good speaker wire nothing special. I hope I have good luck with these speakers. I have a rectangle room and only sit about 8 ft. from the corners. The room is 27 ft long but the speakers will have to go on the short walls only about 13 ft apart. The room is eight ft high and has only one small door opening about 15 ft from the right speaker. the walls are very solid. I will read comments tomorrow. Thank you for your help. marlan
