  1. Have had some reprieve in March with some cooler weather. Much appreciated by me. Still, there is much still to be done in a very short while here at the Hacienda. Before long, LF(18 years?) will be hacking me out and about with her gardening projects. Thinking about embracing the hot and humid weather this year. Instead of dreading what is to come, if I were to tweak my attitude, it may keep my nose in joint and save it from a horrible tweak. Right now I pretend to be needing to watch my stocks but alas, can not keep the farce up forever. However, I am resourceful and will find another means of escape. Creativity is like that I suppose.
  2. Dang, Orange Blossom or Tupelo guess are local around about(Yes) here. How one keeps bees out of poisonous plants, have never dreamed of. Ignorant yet guess Desert Flowers in Arizona. ?! Lol
  3. Tomorrow is the day but, today is the weekend. Have a good one!
  4. Like one also. First one I heard, lol...It was 69 and I was in HS(High) School in Orlando Started to post an old Association lp I have here. Bet they were good live. Lots of hits... Like Along comes Mary,l in my head...lol
  5. Lol, that is sad... How many grams to make a 4oz. espresso ??? ^^^ Used to hear war stories about the Everglades...once upon a time. Love fried green tomato sandwich....
  6. At the root....Thank goodness some have green thumbs Video looks like fish stories, only real...lol
  7. Report post Posted 19 hours ago looks like some nice colas A coke would taste good about now! Guess the fence is for the animals. The first medical I know of was for glaucoma awhile back. Ganga is not a tall strain, except if grown in congo.... No giraffes allowed. About 1 square foot will do you or, so they say...
  8. Have lived in a one horse town then another one came... Thanks for the hammer tip! Now where is the scales... LF has a hand grinder mill but, it looks a little rusty though. Has a drawer underneath to catch the grounds. Guess it may have been a coffee grinder. She bought it cause it was vintage.
  9. Led Zeppelin blows man
  10. Yes man! We will have to welcome him to the vinyl thread, if he wants to...
  11. Sounds like a plan WillyBob. Nothing like rediscovering old vinyl collection. Have a newer mid-end Technics with cover that I always use. DizRotus has some good threads on cleaning them, as well as others. Woke up with clocks an hour behind but, not a biggie. March came in like a lamb around here but, nice stiff wind today and the lows remain tolerable. Like the cool and going to do outside work continued while still coolish. Second cupper Looks like Mike having a blast of cool... Stay safe.
  12. Forgot to congratulate you. After a weekend of listening to my favorites, yes a nice balanced speaker with gobs of accurate bass. Know you will let us know your impressions. Tone controls bypassed...

    Homebrewing

Good hobby too! Had some from kegs with row of taps party style. Old Irish room mate name of Brewer made some good home brews. Trouble was the waiting between batches. Cool pics!
  14. Congrats on a super looking table. Know it is sounding superb...Cool
  15. Welcome! Absolutely! Hook it up and spin on pure direct. Not hip to your model as I had a Marantz 7500. Do you have a phono out of the rear input for source? If not, you will need a phono stage, which is easy enough to acquire. Welcome again and others are here. Edit: Kudo's to an understanding wife, lol...
  16. What? they take siestas in NY? Coffee time
  17. For one that may not be hip to. Saw them once in JAX as recall a very good concert:. LaScala's sounding better with this recording over the Chorus. Last YouTube for me today:
  18. That is close but no bangs. Too hot for me. Otherwise, a spittin' image.
  19. Yes cut back the treble. Those are good music and HT speakers. Use them for both myself. Welcome to the forum!
  20. Just what is needed...lol
  21. Sounds like common static caused by weather conditions. Read where you are digging on your system. Hope so...
  22. After hearing Tommy James talk on radio about his experience with the Shondells' label and management, I know it is true. Reads like a comedy of sorts complete with thug like figures. Van Morrison got his acoustical guitar broken over his head when he wanted to do lp's versus 45rpm's...
  23. Looks fine to me. Theramin, that is it. As long as new TT is grounded and yes a vinyl mat is new to me. You probably are already ahead of me but, try a round template of paper or something over the vinyl to try to troubleshoot.. Know you will sort it out. Thought you had LaScala's...cool! Edit: Video looks and sounds good. Theramin is a cool instrument.. Sci-Fi usually. Thanks! Edit: Occurs to me the static weather related?!
  24. Dang, I wear my hair in a bob...psychic.
  25. Remember a woman named Bob, but not on here. It was on Black Adder... Guessing it is the midrange doing it for me and bass will do... enough rattling around here so, no sub for me.
