Anyone out there know the dimensions of the K-500 horns used in the Belle? Was looking for length, width and depth if possible. Thanks!

220, 221...whatever it takes.

I've had it for maybe 10 years too but it's from concerts, playing in bands, being in car audio/home audio/video for 30 years, headphones, etc...at least I'm told. I lost 50 lbs and it wasn't any better. Gained 40 of it back from marital stress but its still the same. Some days it's louder than others...but always there. It won't go away now.

Posted 28 days ago. You'd think Belle's would be gone at that price. So far away...sigh.
-
Those are Phil's speakers...or pic anyway. Can tell by the usual background.

If cassettes are hip then I lost being hip about 25 years ago. I don't miss that format a bit. Yeah, they could sound good but...I lost interest. Donated all mine years ago. Even the Denon and Maxell tapes that were dang good for their time are all gone except for the ones my best friend kept that were made years ago on the Nak and Denton decks at the audio store I worked at.

You could always just make a basic grill to the left and right of the dog house similar to what the Belle's do. Then you could hide whatever is back there.

Very cool, Dave.

Oops. I apologize. I'll modify that post.

The gear I use on a daily basis has been completely gone through and updated where needed. Mainly it's my Carver gear in the living room, the two old console tube amplifiers, and Soundcraftsmen DX4200 preamp and A5002 amp at my buddy's house. The Carver C-1 is an amazing older preamp with tons of documented research and updates of which mine has had done both by me and one of the Carver forum members that live in Maine. All the resistors in the audio path are 1% rated, most all caps and new IC's, all new RCA's, and wven remote volume control.
Also my M-1.0t has been rebuilt to a "MkII Opt 002" status which brought its power from 200wpc to 460 and sounds amazing. The two reside in my main system on the CF-3's.

And on another note, I have access to JBL Selenium drivers for very good prices from a long time friend. Has anyone used those with good results in any of the Klipsch Heritage speakers or otherwise?

Righteous bucks

On the Eliptrac 400, are there plans for making the wood cut pieces by someone in their own shop or is the only real way to do them with a CNC machine? What's kit run? I didn't see the price on the website?

Dang...these would probably work for my Belle 2 way build but I'm strapped at this point

Not a bad deal for 3 with those upgrades.

Done too

Thaaaaattt's the other thread I was trying to find and bookmark. Thanks for chiming in on this!
Still deliberating on what to do on top half. Two way is still the simplest for the crossover as I could go either passive single or bi-amp or go active and bi-amp. The beauty is that it could change along the way and be switched out by separating the top and bottom piece of the "top hat" and changing the side pieces and grill to go to something else. Not at that point yet, though. Main cabinets first, then decide on top.
Thanks again for the info and link.

Thanks very much. I do have those already plans thanks to that thread from back in 2004. Here's the link to another one I had remembered seeing at one point but didn't bookmark.

I've got most everything graphed out in Excel for the cut pieces but I have a few questions about a couple of pieces. On the top section, what is the length on the side section (circled in red) in the pictures? I know it's 8-1/2" tall but what about depth? Are there any more concrete dimensions on the top section? I thought I'd found them all.
Also, on the back wall of the cabinet where the woofer fires through the 13" x 3" opening, there are 2 pieces that resemble a wide "V" shape for directing low frequencies to the corners. Are there any measurements for these out there plus the angles on both ends? I circled them in green in the last picture.

Yes, if I used the Fastrac horn, I'd be going three way.
-
OK...not too economical for me. Ha. Thanks for the info! I'm sure they're awesome.

Ok, found it. Acadian Wood Products in Little Rock carries it. B/CP rated 5' x 5' in 3/4" runs $35.75 per sheet and 4 x 8 runs $63.50 per sheet. Awesome.
