  1. I would definately look into the WDST speakers from the RS line. They are made for this type of duty. The RS42, RS52, and RS62 are the ones to take a look at. The RS52 is the one that is matched to your system.
  2. I am also a basshead, the MCACC on my pioneer elite set my sub at -7db, i put it back to 0db. lol
  3. yeah i originally was going with the a3 300, then I ordered TWO a2 300s. I pussed out and cancelled one and still have one a2 300 being built. I put that Y adapter on the back of the sub and wow, it makes a difference. seems like two mono signals being feed into both inputs on the sub. If my little RW10d is rocking the room, I can imagine what the a2 300 will do, so I was gonna hold off of the second sub until I got my other gear I had been dreaming about. I ordered my RF 63s and RC64. I got my pioneer elite receiver, now I just need my Emotiva XPA3. I think it would be a better amp than the upa7 for the 63s and rc64.
  4. aboulfad, I think you menat RF62 floorstanders. I have a 62 for sale if you dont like the 52.

  6. i got everything you need http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/112570.aspx
  7. I agree, I would get the RS line. I have RS42s which I like. Bookshelf speakers to me are made for using them as mains or rear surrounds, I am not sure I wouldnt use a set of rs there also.
  8. hey youth, there are some easier to use plugs at orange county speaker. they are here: http://www.speakerrepair.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BS10&Category_Code=all_plugs
  9. I kinda hope mine get darker.
  10. I dont mind either one. I think Im actually gonna like the Cherry finish. My floor is dark wood, and my entertainment center is white. O well, the speakers themself will be awesome I know.
  11. Yeah Im pretty sure I will sell my old setup. Not sure if I might keep the RF62s or not to use for surround duty when I build my house and have a media room. I really need to make up some of the cost, so I might sell everything except the RS42s. You interested Youth in something I have?
  12. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!! I ORDERED A PAIR OF 63S AND A 64 CENTER. YES!!!!!!!
  13. Hello guys. I have a serious dilemnia. I have a chance to get a pair of RF63s and RC64 for a pretty good price shipped to the door, but there is one catch. They are in the Cherry finish. My setup(RF62s,RC62,RS42s,and RW10d) is all black now. This is such a good price, that I dont really want to pass it up just because the finish. Im pretty sure the cherry will be ok, It just wont really match anything. lol HELP!
  14. so you think it would be better to use the xpa3 for HT viewing instead of powering my whole setup with the upa7? a couple of the guys on the bluray forums seem to think so. I thought the extra power from the xpa3 would be great for my mains and center, and just power my 42s with the avr.
  15. My vote would be for the XPA-3 and use your receiver to drive your rears. thats what im screaming. gotta find a place to fit this thing though. lol
  16. im not sure whether to go for the xpa3 or get the upa 7. same close price, but less wattage. dont really need to drive the rs42s. I could use the receiver for that. what you guys think.
  17. the ps3 decodes all the newest codecs. so no worries
  18. Try the RS line, I have some and like them
  19. This will be plenty for you. The onkyo 605 has all the newest codecs including TrueHD and dts Master Audio. Has HDMI inputs 90 watts per channel and plenty of inputs. besides im only asking $275 for the receiver.
  20. I have already this discussion. I was going to get some RF 82s and put my RF 62s in the rear. The thing is, the RS line is better for that purpose. The RS line are WDST speakers, so they are made for this purpose. In my opinion the towers for rears are overkill. You get nothing more with towers than the RS line.
