  1. I just bought a RT12d...whoa is all I can say. I haven't completely dialed it in yet but what a great sub, well worth it!
  2. What a great sounding sub. I have it tuned 98% of the way I want it, slightly boomy during movies but I haven't had all that much time to play with it yet. Certainly shakes things up a bit. I feel it is well worth the $500 I spent.

Still looking if anyone has any leads. Thanks!
  4. You did VERY good! I have been wanting to try one of those darn subs ever since i saw it. Thank you! Not sure if I got it for a good price or not but I've never seen one for sale so I figured I'd take a shot on it.
  5. The corner I have, the mic I don't. Should I try to locate a mic? Do I run the audyssey with my Marantz before I try to run the sub calibration? If you can't find a mic, I may be able to ship mine(if I can find it) to you to use and you can ship back when done. I can't remember which order you run your EQ's. I will check on that. Bill Thanks Bill! I'll take a look around and see if I can come up with one, if not I'll let you know.

  7. You did well my friend. Bill Thank you Bill! I'm going to work on setting it up this weekend. Any tips, insights, thoughts or suggestions are always welcome. I did some searching around and don't see all that many reviews or thoughts on this sub. We're these fairly hard to come by or did they not sell well? Rick
  8. I managed to pick up an RT-12d. How'd I do?
  9. Maybe he's trying to help with my quest for a sub? Nah probably not.
  10. I have a nice Westinghouse quad made in Japan from the early 70's. They were NOS. I think they sound much better then my Winged C's. If I can ever find another quad of the Westinghouse I'd jump on them in a second.
  11. Can you stretch your budget a bit? Maybe another $200.00? Oh, I see you never confirmed your budget. What is the max you are willing to spend? Bill Right now in the $500 range. I don't want to cut into my RC-64 budget but I at least wanted to get the ball rolling on which subs may or may not be a good fit.
  12. yuck! Please don't. They deserve something so much better. Lol I'm trying! I'll come across something at some point.
  13. The sub will only be used for HT.
  14. How about a R-12SW with the 63's?
  15. That's the picture of beauty

I think the same guy has a Marantz 9 for sale too. Quite the collection
  17. Hi All, I'm looking around for a sub to go with my RF-63. There are a couple local to me at the same price ($300). I was hoping someone could offer me up some guidance or opinions on either of these subs and which would be better with my 63's It'll only be used for HT. Velodyne CT-150 15" M&K MX-125 MKii Or are neither of these a good option? Thanks!
  18. rocko you want the older rc-64 buddy totally different tweeters and WAY different timber. The rf-7ii and rf-63 have a completely different tone to them and the center are matched with their respective towers. Keep an eye and be real patient. Good thing is the longer you wait cheaper it will most likely get when you find one. Gotcha! I'll keep waiting, didn't realize there was such a difference but that's the reason I'm part of the Forum.
  19. I'd be all over that RC-64 if you were closer I want one to match up with me RF-63's.
  20. Bump. Quartets are still available $200 cash takes them away!
