Great looking set up. That's great that you got them sounding the way you want, I would love to hear a pair sometime.

Congratulations!
Why not screw the business trip and stay home and get this sorted out?
I agree, screw making money and stay home and listen to your entire collection. []

I think I remember reading it cost Carver $5,000 just for the special paint job for those beasts.
Those Carver amps are the same price as an Audi R8, $115,000.00Here is a pic of an R8 that was in the VW/Audi/Porsche dealership that I'm a tech at for a recall. (incase you didn't know what an R8 looked like.)

Those are nice....I would like to find a pair.

Today (well, yesterday) I got my system and Chorus IIs out of storage after being in there for over 4 years. Nice to listen to it again. Still in storage are La Scalas, Academy and KT-SW. Getting them soon!

I agree, I've used the Forte, Chorus and KG5.5 and nothing comes close to the LS. A 15" woofer for the low end and my HT sounds nice. I just need to find a single LS for a center....my Academy has a hard time keeping up.

I bought a perfect pair for $100, no lie. I am not sure why they don't seem to hold their value like some other Klipsch speakers, they work really well for HT set up.

This was taken in 2009 (when I first got the bug). I've since replaced them with La Scalas and now Klipschorns

My youngest had a curious walking evolution. He began using the coffee table for balance stability. He'd readily stand and walk as long as he had one hand on something he considered 'helpful'. He'd drop like a sack of hammers the moment he'd let go. The really funny part was that he'd walk independently holding a helium balloon I presume because he felt it was a stable enough foundation. Take the balloon away and down he'd go. Once he did get walking figured out he would not walk on grass barefoot for about 6 months. Shoes and grass were good. Got those all on video.
That is pretty funny to me, my son is a lot like that. If he has his something to guide him he does really well but, say something like the table ends he gets the wobbles.

I am so happy right now!!!! []

(Notice the Klipschorns?)

As a race fan, I am glad they are ok.
Has anyone seen this one?...........it's a classic.
-
I thought it was funny as well.

Thebes, you seem like a pretty cool guy. [H]

Keep them all. Pull the Belles out of storage and put the Khorns in.
Down the road you will wish you still had what ever you decide to sell.

Sounds like a good time to me as well. Two weeks ago my wife, son and I went to visit her parents. We had a great pool party and because of me, (he now loves Klipsch) my father in law bought a pair of Heresys.......we put them outside and it was perfect.
Thanks to PWK right?! []
