  1. This link has some good info

    https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/141092-ev-dx38-vs-ev-dc-one-test-comparison/

Biggest difference i think is the dx-38 is a 2 in 4 out. The dc one is a 2 in 6 out. SO you can biamp a pair or jubs and still have two outputs for subs OR you can triamp a pair of speakers... Lots of info if you search around.

I payed much more than the selling price, out of everything i am selling hurts me to sell this most i think. LMK if you have any more questions

  2. Down sizing system so unit has to go. 100% fully functional. Front face plate looks excellent, top does have some scratches from being amp racked, obviously does not effect functionality. Please email or text me with any questions. 305-335-4796

  5. Purchased these about 6 months ago from Claude. I opened them up (as can be seen in pic) removed every woofer, mid woofer and tweeter, tested everything and cleaned everything. Installed new eminence woofers in all 4 speakers (eight woofers total). Painted the horn blue and shell with fresh black duratex. These are the real deal, sound out of this world amazing. Each speaker has 2 12", 4 5" mids and 1" tweeter. Selling because speakers take to much space as can be seen in pic an i honestly don't need so much speaker. Looking to get a new bigger tv also and can't due to size restraint. Look for specs and reviews on these online. Lmk if you got any questions.  Located in Miami, Fl.

  6. I am into those vintage marantz pieces my self. Your best bet is eBay. Sometimes they will pop up on craigslist.  I don't see any right now on there... GL with your search and if i see anything i will let you know;)

  7. I rightfully do not belong on this thread because i don't currently own a pair of epics but i did own a pair of cf4 version 2 for just over a year. Below is my thread comparing them to khorns and also the mods i did to the epics.

The epics were amazing amazing speakers. They were my pride and joy. If you listen to rock, rap, edm, or any bass heavy or dynamic type of music these speakers truly shine. In the links above more in depth review so i really won't repeat my self. If anyone has any questions please feel free to message me. The only reason i switched is because i went to speakers which were much much more expensive.

Maybe someday when i get a bigger house and i have a second room i will go on my quest to find another pair of cf4's.  :D

  8. Looking at the plans, when you build the width (or height not length) can you go anywhere from 15" = 36"? Idea is to build 2 to flatten out the room response.

From what I've gathered, a 72" Long, 18" High, 36" wide should be apples to apples with a 36" x 36" x 36" Tuba HT. Many steer away from the 36" cube of the Tuba HT because they can't get it through the doors in their house...usually some of the interior doors.

I'm many years from a final home so the 72" x 18" x 36" THTLP seems good for me as I move around from place to place. Should be able to manage that in any home.

I'll be able to either stand them up behind my entertainment center towers, or lay them down, stacked on top of each other, behind it. Could also use them as risers it seems.

Yes you are correct in everything you said. You can see my two thtlp's facing into the corner in my profile pic. Both are 72" x 18" x 24. (the small one) I loooove my tht's and i highly recommend. They are also very helpful at the bill fitzmaurice forum. Hope i helped and pm with any questions. Yes they can be used as risers just male sure you bring out the tape measure and measure, these are some big suckers. You can also face them down....
