  3. First of all I don't know what size magnet you will need to shield your TV. But I can sympathize with you. I had the same problem, but I elected to move to a bigger home . What size TV do you have? Do yourself a favor and try and move them to a different location, or in your case have someone else move them. I have mine 31/2 feet away from my TV on either side. I hope you find an solution that is both economical and remedied. Let me know what you came up with.
  4. Does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of KLF-30'S, preferably mahogany?
  5. I personally can vouche for Sony's 200 and 400 disc changer. I used the 200 for 2 years and had no problems with it. I had to upgrade to the 400 and i've had it for almost 1 year. I am quite pleased. JVC has a 300 disc changer, my brother has one. He may be willing to part with it.
  6. I would like to Thank everyone for their advice and opinions. I believe I will go the Monoblock route. Again, Thanks for the valualble information.
  7. I'm in the market for an Amp to power my Center channe(C7). I was wondering if all amps are bridgable? I don't want to spend too much money. Maybe a 100 watt 2 ch Amp bridged into 1. I have 1 Kenwood Basic M2A 220w/p/ch. I'm currently bidding on another one. So, i'd like to power my center with at least 200watts. As you can see I'm partial to Solid State Amps.

I used a Y splitter to conect both subs,a Y on each sub and then conected to my Paradigm X30 crossover. You can also go the simple route, split the sub out on your pre/pro or receiver and then conect to each sub. The Knight Shadow(wacko name)is a great subwoofer, two should give you satisfactory output even in larger rooms. ---------------- If I split the signal coming out of my receiver, what will that do to the signal? Does the signal get cut in half? Does the same signal(strength) go to each sub?
  9. I would like to use 2 Carver Knight Shadows in my setup. What would be the best way to hook them up, (y Splitter?, or what. Your advice and opinions are appreciated.
  10. I am requesting assistance on the placement of the klf-c7. I will be purchasing a 16:9 TV and I do not want to sit it on top of the tv. So does anyone know which AV Table will house the c7. I would like to sit it directly beneath the TV. It is 11 inches high and there is where my problem is . Please your help is greatly appreciated. Any information on how you are using your c7 in regards to placement
  11. I know that the Legend Series is discontinued. Does anyone know if Klipsch is going to have closeout sale on the Klf30's like to they did with the 20's?
  12. BTW. I'm willing to trade you my 20's for your 30's.
  13. My question is, what are u powering the Speakers with? I had that problem with the mid-range coloration at higher volumes, using the Yamaha rxv800, then i bought an old SS amp(Kenwood Basic M2A 220w/ch) in fact i have two of those amps one for my KLF30's and one for my KLF20's. Problem solved! Bass and mid-range have tonal balance. Some recievers/amps color treble, some attenuate bass.
  14. I have the Yammy rxv800 and I would like to split the main preouts so i can us my two Kenwood Basic M2A Amps(220w/ch). One amp to power my KLF30'S the other to power my KLF20,s all four speakers on the Main channel. My question is, will this work, will it put any stress on my Yammy. The Yammy is just sending a signal not power, right? Please any and all advice would be appreciated.
  15. I bought my C7 from Brandnamez(Mahogany). I seen one on ebay also.
  16. I would appreciate some suggestions on an Amp. to power my Klf-C7. 17. Brandnamez.com is not an authorized dealer. But I bought my Klf-30's there about 7 mos. ago, $1199 wow! What a Deal. I am very pleased. I bought my center from a local dealer.
  18. brandnamez.com has the c-7, and there's one on ebay
  19. I've owned the ksw-12 for a year and am pleased with its performance. I guess what I really want is something with a bigger punch. Thinking about LF-10. My listening habits are 70% music 30% dvd. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
  20. Well I guess I'll add my opinion and experiences in dealing with my local retailer I'll make it short and sweet. Over the past year I've spent over $7,000 at my local Bryn Mawr Stereo Center. I bought the Syngery Series for myself and the Reference series for my Brother. Also CD changers, DVD players, cables and interconnects A/V Recievers, everything you name it. So when went in to order a pair of Klf-30's he told me i could'nt upgrade because my time had expired to upgrade, which is 12mos, I came in on the 14th mon. So I asked how much off the MSRP he could come he said $200. I thought that was a good deal, until he added taxes then $1700. I said can you do any better than that. He replied no! I had been a loyal customer and have also recommended several of my co-workers and Family to the store and they too have spent money there. I really feel they should have treated me better than that. Needless to say I was very pissed off. So in comes the internet where I purchased the KLf-30's for $1199, $1309 dellivered. No they are not an authorized dealer. I knew what I wanted so I didn't have to audition them. The company I got them from also had them in Mahogony I've had them 4 mos. know and couldn't be more pleased. Bryn Mawr just lost a loyal customer. Not because of the price difference, but because I feel I deserved better treatment. So yeah, I do believe in supporting your local dealer, but not at the expense of being made to feel like a sucker.
