  1. Here's a youtube video showing what happens in China when you don't listen to what they tell to do:
  2. I believe that you are making my point: Infection rates for this virus are varied worldwide. China locked down an area of 36 million people very quickly once they realized what they were dealing with as they have the ability, being a dictatorship, to do so. Same way that they can lie about the actual numbers of anything/everything they want. That said; who knows what their true numbers are here? I doubt the announced number of ~80,000 infections is correct. Wb
  3. Now, not unexpectedly, our food supply is being affected by this too: https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/smithfield-foods-employees-test-positive-for-coronavirus-south-dakota-pork-plant-closes Wb
  4. The US population is approximately 329,000,000. Italy’s is approximately 60,000,000... with at least 143,600 confirmed pandemic cases. On a per capita basis the number infected would have to hit more than 787,000 persons in the US before equaling Italy’s 143,600. Wb
  5. You signed a lease. What does it say wrt force majeure? Wb
  6. Speaking of 'lies', note the date of this WHOpper: Wb
  7. Stalin in the midst of the great famine in the Ukraine is said to have stated: "The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic." In light of the relatively small numbers of Wuhan Virus statistics reported by Russian officials I wonder if his current successor, Putin, has taken another page out of the old Stalin Playbook? Wb
  8. Consider modifications that result in an upgrading to be the question in the above context. Wb
  9. I'm more concerned about the man behind the curtain: He was making the final decisions on how to employ his 'useful idiots'. Wb
  10. The problem with doing nothing. Revamp, revise and reboot or completely defund is it has the clowns at the WHO a pass on the way they've run the circus. This allows them to think that their behaviour which has resulted in millions of sick, spending Trillions of dollars the world does not have, etc. is acceptable. It is not! Devil out!! Comes to mind. Wb
  11. Petition to get rid of the head stooge at the WHO (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus): https://www.change.org/p/united-nations-call-for-the-resignation-of-tedros-adhanom-ghebreyesus-who-director-general?recruiter=1043481144&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_abi&recruited_by_id=18e33070-51ee-11ea-ba92-a9c2dee67bb1 Wb
  12. Lucky. We got another three inches of snow overnight. Further putting back my early planting schedule. Wb
  13. If you construct a raised bed using wood, he could use Maxwell's Silver Hammer to assist with assembly too. 🔨 Wb
  14. You can't fix stupid. I would call him a communist and a lackey. He's had a lot of practice in covering up Cholera epidemics in the past in both the Sudan and Ethiopia. The New York Times warned their readers about this in 2017 when he was in contention for the WHO job. See: https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/fully-complicit-terrible-suffering-tedros-adhanom-ghebreyesus-blamed-2017-cholera Wb
  15. Crohn's is an autoimmune disease. You are already compromised when you have an autoimmune disease. As such, mathematically you are greater risk of becoming ill as a result of this then you are of catching the virus, assuming you are taken all the recommended precautions to avoid contracting it. Wb
  16. I would say one of our greatest current enemies has already done as much damage to our economies as any military attack could. And then some. They also have blood on their hands for their deliberate misinformation and secrecy wrt a raging virus. Nice to know the WHO has their back. Hopefully, western nations will defund the WHO unless and until they are completely reconstituted as something other than the lackeys they've become. Wb
  17. It all happened before and it will happen again. Never underestimate our inability to learn from our own history: The Spanish Flu, the war to end all wars, the Holocaust being just three recent examples. It seems every couple of generations we screw up something all over again. Wb
  18. I suspect doing so would do in the ten year warranty but: Can La Scala II AL5's be Modified/Upgraded with different Crossovers, Speakers, etc. and is this even required? Wb
  19. We've always had a several months supply of staples on hand. Also, always a full deep freezer and two refrigerators, with side or bottom mount freezers (also kept pretty full). Something passed down from my paternal side of the family. I've been in the habit of properly and frequently washing my hands and have only had to increase this slightly during the current pandemic. Wb
  20. It would be a mistake to say that nothing was done. The Electron Microscope did not exist before its development in Germany in the mid to late 1930's. Microscopes, as they existed in 1917 through 1920 did not have the resolution to see the Avian Virus that is suspected to be responsible for the Greatest Pandemic of the 20th Century. People did know enough to wear masks (primarily made from gauze), practice frequent hand washing and distance themselves from others. Some remote villages remained unaffected entirely. This was accomplished by putting out armed guards 24/7 some distance away to prevent the entry and exit of all who wanted to come into or leave and return. Wb
  21. Damn lies and statistics. ~50% of those testing positive for the Wuhan Virus in Canada reside in the Province of Quebec. This in spite that the population of 8.3 million, which is approximately double the population of Alberta and almost 60% of the population of Ontario. Most likely this reflects the fact that Alberta's population is an average of 5 years younger than that in Quebec (median age) and a relatively large number of those living in Quebec smoke or vape at greater daily rates (i.e. more cigarettes consumed per person/day). Like large areas of Europe some people seem to be unaware of cancer and it's relationship to smoking and other disease susceptibility. See: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection.html And: https://www.statista.com/statistics/444816/canada-median-age-of-resident-population-by-province/ And: https://uwaterloo.ca/tobacco-use-canada/adult-tobacco-use/smoking-provinces Wb
  22. The Darwin Awards this year is going to overwhelmed with candidates! Some who won't be available to realize, from 6' under, that they were in contention. Wb
  23. We had a high of 10 degrees Celsius here yesterday (~50 degrees F). Compared to several months before, that was relatively tropical. Wb
  24. Another longtime UFO conspiracy nut is Stanton Friedman. I have a friend could pass for his twin when Friedman was younger. If I want to get my friend's goat I just have to call him 'Stanton'. The real Stanton can be found pontificating here: https://listverse.com/2017/06/22/10-signs-that-aliens-could-be-contributing-to-our-world/ Wb
  25. I call it 'The Curse of the Curse of Oak Island'. Watched it once; been drinking to forget. Better curse can be watched here: Wb
