  3. Actualy I have my subwoofer placed in the Front left corner of my room (facing the street) and the adjacent corner, (back right) actualy shakes when System and Sub are turned up.... the walls near hte other corners dont.. Just right around that corner.. near my desk or laying on my bed (head goes in that corner) the bass is REAL strong. Not to mention it makes the light in my room flicker. ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel
  4. They are clean and like... all the speakers do it.. Even my old v2-400's did it alittle. I think its one of the Pro Medias flaws.. BAD Klipsch...... you let something slip. ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel
  5. Why in the living hell is BOSE so.. soo.... popular! WHY do people think BOSE is good!!!! BOSE SUCKS!!!!! GAH!!! It sickens me!!!!!!!! Ahh well...... Klipsch should put out a version of theyer Pro Medias.. with more hook ups... And sell it twards the HT market.. Put them in.. BESTBUY and CircutCity.. 6. When ever I move the connector on the back of the speakers they get all scratchy and on some of them unless moved in a right place...... wont work. Now, I have already returned my v2-400's once, and got my 4.1's. Thats cost me 40 bucks in Warrentys so far. I do not want to have to spend another 20 bucks, after returning them. So does anyone know how I might be able to fix this problem? ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel

  8. I left Classical music on all night turned the volume dial to about 10:00. Then In the morning I played some techno with the volume at 12:00. Then I played some rock at 1:00.. since then.. I go all the way to 5:00 with everything
  9. I use the SB live and I kinda remember it using all 4 channels when I had my computer in the living room... Not sure what it is................... Grrrrrr
  10. its a Yamaha Natural Suround Stereo Reciever.. only stereo .. nothing special.......... its like 20 + years old.
  11. i'm using that almost exact card. And i'm guessing theres a Sound out on your Decoder card, and you run a cord out from there to your line in on your sound card. I have the same problem.. I think its because the Line in is only Stereo.... could be wrong though.
  12. Could you explain all that to me please?
  13. Its my gues that the one on the site is the same size as mine And if so.. it should fit. You could always get a small extension cord for one... Male to female cord about 2 inches long. But remember.. all these things will over a small degrade in sound.. but not real noticeable... The real Sound Freak will notice it.. most normal people wont.
  14. BTW talk about over kill During the summer when I get money.. I am going to buy 2 new speakers. Looking at : Paradigm Monitor 5 and Monitor 7. Monitor 5 Those cost about $520 Monitor 7 These cost about $650 ** ( both are the same.. just 1 is bigger and has a bass reflux port and the other doesnt ) ** I will also end up one way or another getting a Reciever to power those, and My two fishers. I will be disabling the Hi and Midranges on my fishers since they suck.. and just using the 10 inch woofers. This is what I will have : FOR HI and MID : 4 Klipsch Pro Medias : 3/4 inch MicroTractic Horn 3 inch Midrange 2 Paradigms : 1 inch Pure Titanium Dome Tweeter FOR BASS : 1 Klipsch Sub : 2x 6.5 woofers 2 Fishers : 10 inch woofers 2 Paradigms : 2x 6.5 inch woofers As for bass.. it moves as much air as a 46 inch woofer.. Total hitting power of about.. 1 36 inch woofer. thats.. ALMOST over kill ** addition ** My sub alone right now.. when turned up and the system turned up.. makes the light in my room dim in and out slightly
  15. Well I'd say go out buy 2 Y connectors Hook up your Pro Medias and Cambridg's Since you like the Decoder.. and the way the Cambridge sound more on Movies.. you can turn them up on movies, and use the klipsch as.. back up. And when listening to music or what ever you like the Pro Medias for. do the opposite. The DTT2500 is a good sounding system.. I almost got that.. till I heard the Pro Medias ( I wont forget this.. I was in Microscenter this big store.. I was on the other side of the store.. and hear music.... It sounded good and was loud.. It turned out to be the DTT2500 ) So it wouldnt realy mess up your sound that bad. As for over kill thats a good thing You'll defeniatly have Lots of bass... but you'll also have even it out by all the Sats I wish I had a 3500 Cambridge system........ ( with my Pro Medias.. not a trade off ) My ICQ = 62476521 if you have it.
  16. Alright In the living room we have my grandfathers Yamaha Natural Sound Stereo Reciever set up. It puts about.. 100 watts perchannel and has a A and B switch. As far as I understand, when you have A and B on it sends half the power to A and half the power to B. So if its 100 watts per channel. It would be 50 watts perchannel with A and B turned on. correct me if I am wrong. As for speakers.. We have his Klipsch Heresys hooked up to A. To B we have my big Fishers my dad gave me. And to B we also have 2 small fisher surrounds (I bought from friend for cheap) Now.. will having the Surrounds hooked up there hurt them? It says on the back DO NOT HOOK UP TO A OR B OUTPUTS but.. I dont see why not.. especialy when its recieving less than the 60 watts handling power. ? Maby its because its 1 speaker about 3-4 inches big.. reciever HI - Low frequencies... and that may over load it ? Any one know?
  17. A Y connector works like this It has 2 imputs for speakers, and turns it in to one. It will allow you to connect 2 sets of speakers to one Speaker out on your video card. got it? Just hook up the Rear Channel as normal. Plug in the Y adaptor to the Front channel. Plug in your Klipsch to one spot on the Y connector. Plug in your Sound Works into the other spot. Have your Sub hooked up to your Sound Works.. and go from there. You could even run the Full Creative set like this to, if you bought 2 Y connectors. 1 for Front, one for Back. Have more questions? email me. Any one got better ideas.. tell the man.
  18. I have mine placed in one of my 3.5 drive bayz. right above my Floppy drive if you put it in from the front it fits perfectly. And looks cool to
  19. You will need something to power it.. Then hook that up in to the card. Using a Y connector so you can connect both your Pro Medias and that. if you have the 5.1 card you can just hook it up to the Center/Sub Channel and forget the Y connector.. Do you still have your old speaker set? and it worked on there? Just run that through your Center channel if you have it. If not, run it through your main channels using a Y connector. This is saying exaclty what I said before.. but giving you an option of something to use. hope that helps. ** The Amp in the sub only sends out the Hi and Mid frequencies to the sats : ( I have 2 10's just waiting to be hooked up
  20. Well I have 2 desk right next to it Its in the corner and my desk with my computer is to the right and another desk is to the left. The desk on the left is plastic. the one on the right is wood. Maby those 2 things would effect the sound... if it was lower Where it is now.. I like it because it is easy to get to. thanks for the help
  21. I have my Sub on these 2 white things ATM They are the same heigth as my Desk. And both together is about 1 1/2 longer than the sub. There is a shelve in the middle of them. I have the sub on top with a small board that fits perfectly under it and on the white things, so it sits better and it doesnt wobble. Is it better there you think or on the ground? I will try both, but I would like to hear.. technical reasons.
  22. Strap it to your head maby? Put it up on the desk with you ( serious )
  23. I havent read about the Sirroco Pro's.. but I have read alot of reviews on the Sirroco Crossfires.. and... from every review I have read they say that They outpreform the Klipsch in most areas. Although they say its only a 100watt system, it can actualy get louder than the Pro Medias... Not sure about the Pro's though... Thats alittle input from me.
  24. ouch. But atleast now others can learn from your experiences. Thanks for posting that.
