The first rule of Klipsch list is not to discuss Klipsch list.

I just listened to the 1st 3 disc's in the new WYWH Immersion set and was / am very impressed. My question is has anyone here had the chance to compare the Immersion set to the new SACD ? If so what are your thoughts, is it worth another $35.00 ?
The immersion set contains the blu-ray. No need for the SACD unless you are a completist collector. -
I suggest not skimping on the center. Get the best you can afford, even if that means postponing other acquisitions. It's perhaps the most important channel for HT.
And two subs requires 7.2.

You picked up RF-12's from Newegg. I am not familiar with that model.
What speakers do you currently have? I have read this a few times, and am confused. (That's not too hard these days)
I did not respond to this thread after several readings because I also could make little sense of it. [:|]

Downloading it now, what does it do?
It's a skin for your ipod interface.

I love it. Thanks for the heads up.

To be honest I always thought and still do that DVD audio sounds superior to sacd. This may be due the source or mix or format, I dunno.Steely Dan Goucho DVD audio is certainly top notch
I have about 20 of each. There is not a single SACD that sounds better than my worse sounding DVD-A. DVD-A buries the SACD format. At least to my ears...

Maybe you have not listened to the DSOTM SACD.
I find the two formats indistinguishable and would attribute the apparent superiority of any disc to the strength of its mastering, or mixing in the case of surround tracks.

A friend of mine had a similar problem w/ his set. He purchased some replacement parts from a seller on ebay cheap that rectified the problem. I wish I could remember specifics to help you.
They sure are amazing comp speakers.

Shame his bone is broken, but that's the game. He can use his millions of dollars to pay the medical bills.

here's what i'm looking at. he has come down to 1200.00 but that still seems high to me.
They look clean, but that price is still very high.

i have to really position them well, i mean they are just on the floor right now, in my small seating area, they need to be more at ear level and be toed in.
They originally had risers on the bottom that angled them upward.

You're with the wrong person if they do not.

Sheen has whatever the artists he's flown in for the evening bring with them.

Moving in circles?
Go buy those Cornwalls. Sell them at a profit if you do not like them.

Noone has really adressed my concern over sitting so close to the speakers even if they are 1' away from the front wall. The review I listed above mentioned a need to sit about 4meters from horns for the sound to blend correctly from the multiple drivers???
It ain't true.

Hello Cornwall.

I believe they only have one: Live From Texas. Grab the blu-ray version, of course. [Y]
