  1. I will be contacting Bob today to get the required parts for this build. Thanks for all the help.
  2. It sounds really good with the set up, but I just want it to look cleaner. Thank you very much for the help and I am going to start on this project asap. Once that project is complete, the Cornwalls will be going to Cronscala's. I really miss the mid and high's I had with the Horns I once owned.[:'(]
  3. Im looking to convert a KLF-10 into a center speaker to go with my Cornwalls and my Chorus's but I have no idea where to start. Some help would be great.
  4. I have K-horns but I have no corners to place them in. I would like to know if i can close of the back of the horns so they sound as if they are in a corner.I noticed that Klipsch made a horn that was closed off in the back but where would i find a blueprint to build myself, or has anyone done this project and was successful.
  5. I want to close of the back of the cabinets as if they were in a corner. I've seen pics but have no idea where to start.
  6. I just refinished mine with black poly shade, 3 coats followed with 3 coats of clear poly. They look amazing. They were painted white white and i used a paint stripper. I will post pics tomorrow and send them to you.
  7. I bought the emotiva xpa-3 amp and it has alot of power, adds more punch, the bass is tighter and the sound is cleaner.
  8. Look dude first thing first. Do what I did and get away from the denon. I went with the marantz and the emotiva xpa-3 more then enough power. If u are still have the clipping issue then there is the speakers.
  9. Thet did not come with any strip on the bottom. not sure what to use.
  10. Just rebiult my horns and I am looking for the trim strips for the bottom of the cabinets. I have no idea where to buy or what they are even called.
  11. Currently in the process of refinishing my k-horns. they were painted white for some reason but not anymore. they are getting the poly shade black. as soon as they are done, hopefully this weekend, i will post pics.
  12. Ok guys, just got a pair of 1986 K-Horns for a redicules price. They sound amazing but are a bit of an eye sore and want to redo them. I have a Klipsch 12 inch powered sub and I really like the finish and want that finish for the K-Horns but I cannot find it any where on the net. It's not wood but more like a laminate veneer. I plan to get a vacuum set up to do the horns with since it is my first time. If anyone out there has a web sight for me that would be great.
  13. right on thanks for your help... nice danzig skull.
  14. What is the average cost to rebuild the components if need be. And since I only have one corner in my livingroom, what can I do to still get the amazing sound from them. I was thinking that it would be possible to build a corner on to the back of the cab to trick the speaker but not inclose them completely.
  15. I have a buddy who has a pair of k-horns and is going to let them go. I'm wanting to buy them but unsure if they will do what I need.. It kinda sounds lke the speakers are for jazz. I listen to alot of metal annd watch alot of movies. I have a Denon AVR789 and not sure if thats enough or if it will do for the time being.
