I've bugged @MetropolisLakeOutfitters several times about it. I have since layed off of bugging him about it....hint hint
I have ordered Cornwall III grills directly through Klipsch myself and besides the lonnnnnnng wait on hold it was an easy process. Their prices were very fair. I also need a pair of Chorus passives and will be ordering Forte III passives, per chief Bonehead I believe, as replacements.

And what part of the extra trim and "professional modifications"gave them more bass?
Maybe he is bi-amping now and got better results in his listening environment. The terminal cup is certainly a modification from original.

Find a mover on craigslist or from a local Uhaul or other source. Have them come to your house and give them $50 to carry the pieces up your stairs.
I hired 2 movers to unload a Uhaul I had packed myself and driven across the country. 2 guys took 30 min to unload a packed truck including a single k-horn that was disassembled but still had the components installed. A small guy, maybe 140lbs, picked up the bass bin and carried it off the truck, down a ramp and into my place. Professional movers know how to get chit done. Best $100 I've spent in a long time.

Seeing the sheet of open cell foam being stuffed in doghouse is interesting. I want some in my LSii.
Can only think this is to damp a ringing that have found with measurements. Whether acoustic or done with an accelerometer.
Both of my LSii's have had foam in the doghouse. Heresy ii's, Forte ii's and iirc my Chorus ii's do as well. The foam that I have seen so far seems to be fairly standard and inexpensive.

Impressive! They look great

The links I have to other helpful veneering threads are broken and lead to an internal error. Groomlakearea51 had so much good info on his Heresy and Cornwall restorations. It's really sad that it's gone.

A similar pair just sold in Northern California a couple of months ago, asking price was $1500 if I remember correctly and I believe he got his price. He posted them here...
I recall upgraded Belles from northern Cali but I thought the Cornwalls from the same seller were closer to original. If the speakers modded like those in MI were $1,500 I'd have a family member pick them up super-stat. I grew up 30 minutes from Caro.

I think the seller will get around $2,000 for them if they are willing to take less than their list price. My guess is that they are listing them for the total amount that they have invested into them. Just a guess. I personally do not expect to get the value of any upgrades I put into my stereo or vehicles back when I sell but that is my mindset. However, when I left active duty and imported my car from Japan to the States I was able to sell it for $15,000 more than I had spent on it. That is a rare and special circumstance but someone wanting this speaker could also view this opportunity as rare as well.

Nice upgrades, way too rich for me
$3,200

My vote would be for butternut.

nice find! Those look to be in like-new condition.

The rear speaker (I believe its the active driver) is not original. This may sound ok but not one I would jump on myself. Good find regardless

I’ve never heard of a speaker having internal woofers, interesting video of this speaker being opened up.

I wish Klipsch still offered raw birch. Raw MDF wouldn't look as good as these do. GLWS on some pretty LaScalas

I'd like to get the Zamp. If someone buys the set I would gladly take it off their hands

Dropped to $399
*edit*
$399 is for a demo unit. Check clearance section for it as I can't copy/paste on this pc for some reason
