  1. Best live high energy Rock n Roll band of all time.  Saw them at Chicago Stadium in 1975.  Billy Preston on on keyboards great concert.  Then saw them in July of 78  outside, hot 90s and humid day, at Soldiers Field.  Peter Tosh and then Journey were warmup bands, then the Stones came and rocked out.  With a little help of some recreational drugs, I swear I felt the energy of the sound system in my teeth fillings  LOL!!!!  Then saw them again in 81 at the Rosemont Horizon, another great live performance.   Saw them again 97 at night in Soldiers Field, with the beautiful lit up Chicago skyline in the back ground, awesome memory. Most recently in 2013, attended their concert at the new United Center, with my son and a whole bunch of 50 to 60 year olds.  Great time to share with my son,  Rolling Stones GREATEST rock and roll band of all time.

  2. Hey to all, Moray James I have not done any upgrade to my Klipsch yet, but I think it is time to do so. It is hard to say what my favorite Klipsch is but I do have a soft spot for my LaScala's. But when I want to pump it out I will power up my Chorus II's with my Carve TFM 55x. I love the Carver amps with the Klipsch, and when that power needle is jumping past that 375 mark it is NUTS in this house!!! My friends know I am NUTS and the (KAOS) of my life! Take care all Mark :-)

I know exactly what you are talking about when it comes to pumping up the Chorus II's. 1000 watts peak power handling, to me the Chorus IIs are at their best when pushing them with lots of power. I powered mine with 220 WPC Kenwood Basic 2 amp and they were and unbelievable combo. Welcome and like previously said, visit and post often.

  3. Sitting on a possible warranty issue for several years before contacting the company is dumb. Assuming the speaker company is to blame based on dubious troubleshooting methods is dumb. Griping about it after the fact on a forum without any sort of specificity is even more dumb.

    My thoughts exactly!

  4. Maybe it was the power source which made the KLFs sound so good. Was there a sub woofer involved? I had Chorus II's and powered them with a 220wpc Kenwood Basic M2A and they could produce live concert audio sound. I would vote Chorus IIs.

  5. For what it's worth here is a suggestion. Check into a Kenwood Basic M2A amp 220wpc power house that sounds fantastic. I have one and have been using it for the last 20+ years and it has not skipped a beat.

  6. 1968 Chrysler 300 (440 CI 4 barrel dual exhaust) my dad's car when I was in high school

1986 Mercury cougar longest lasting most trouble free car I ever owned and got 30 MPG on the highway

A Ferriari Testarossa that I have not ever owned but is my dream car which I will never get unless I win the LOTTO!

  7. The Rolling Stones May 28th of this yeat at the United Center in Chicago. Went with my son and had a great time. My son said the concert was great but the audience was too laid back. I would say the median age of the crowd was in the late 40s to early 50s, maybe that is why they were laid back. Most of the younger crowd got left out because at $250 a ticket in the cheaper seats sort if priced them out of it. Most money I have ever paid for any kind of an event but was well worth it to me.

  8. Yeah I'd say top brands are gonna be marantz, denon, pioneer, onkyo. Whatever you get make sure it has pre outs to add an external amp for all speakers. With that flagship system your gonna want to try an amp down the line

I second the Harman Kardon AV 3600 great sound music and movies. My son bought a Pioneer Elite VSX-51 and I would take the H/K over it anyday. Just my 2 cents.

  9. The Hawks had an unbelievable year and gave me much enjoyment. I knew they were something special in about the 5th week of the season. Coming back down 3 game to 1 against the Wings then the story book game 6 ending against Boston. What a ride. Thank you Blackhawks!
