  1. I was thinkin that very same thing. Might just sell my Plus2 soon and just order 2 PB13's and be in heaven. Still would really like to hear the B4 Plus though before I make that kind of a move. Wish someone on here within reasonable driving distance would pop up and say yeah I've got a B4 come on over and listen to it. I'll buy the beer[Y] I am also considering the ED sub A7-900. But it's just so damn ugly! Not near as stunning as a piano gloss black SVS. Still deciding......
  2. I can't resist! My djnick impression for all to enjoy. HHOOkt No FOniX WUUrkt fo Me! My best buy Sht rock u it best hit Ddeeep. LMFAO! All hail Dj Reeeeetard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Coll sounds good. Maybe I'll just go ahead with my order on a new PB13 Ultra in piano black then if what you're sayin is true it sounds like an upgrade that would make me happy. Unless I continue to wait for a B4 Plus to pop up? Or do I wait and see what SVS brings us new this summer in hopes of something better than the Ultra 13??????????
  4. If your plus2 is in paino gloss black I'll consider takin it off your hands. Mine is in piano gloss black and would want them to match. So now that you've got the Ultra13 figured out how does it compare to your plus2? Does the Ultra now blow it outta the water?
  5. Pretty pwerful but still a mile behind the B4 Plus. Check the specs. A7-900 1300 watts cont. and B4 plus is 2500 cont. and a CRAZY 10,000 peak WHOA[H]
  6. Looks like a nice sub. I'm gonna check out there baddest one for $2500 a little more. It's either that or wait for a SVS B4+. But even the PB12 Ultra/2 is an upgrade to the Plus 2.
  7. After hearing all this I'm feelin pretty good about my Plus 2 now. Glad I haven't bought the PB13 Ultra yet. So if the Ultra isn't gonna be an upgrade then what to get? I'd like to stick with SVS. Should I wait and find an SVS B4+ or a PB12 Ultra/2 ??? Thanks, Joe
  8. Yes I agree you can do better IF you want to build your own. I personally don't have time for that. Otherwise I'd have a Danley rockin already. But if you can pick up a used PB13 Ultra for $1200 or a grand then it's a decent move. Oh one more thing, I really wanna share my dj nick impersonation..... huukt no fonix werkt fo me!!!!! Yeah it real good it rock u it best. All hail dj retard! LMFAO! Read a book or hire a translator dude
  9. I own a Plus/2 and am looking to pick up a PB13 Ultra to match it. I talked to SVS on phone and guy told me the 13 Ultra would be an upgrade to my Plus/2. He said Ultra would go way deeper down to 11 or 10hz. Your sub has got to either be a defective lemon or is hooked up wrong. By any means it shouldn't be less that the Plus/2. But I did only ask about the PB13 and not the PC13. I wouldn't think that would matter though. My neighbor has the PC12 Plus and my Plus/2 crushes his cylinder. I'd call SVS and be polite but extremely unhappy. They have great customer service and don't like there customers unhappy. They should gladly send you a new PC13 in exchange
  10. I am running a Pioneer Elite 23 with KLF-20's and a KLF C-7. Love the Elite! Only draw back is millions of options so it takes some time to learn all it's functions. My neighbor was running a $1000 Denon and once he came over and listened to my new reciever he sold his and bought an Elite within a week after hearing mine. I seriously can't see you being anything but happy if you buy one. And the piano gloss black finish is just plain awesome[H]
  11. Even with warranty not transfering to second owner that was a legit offer. That sub isn't that good and pretty much an entry level unit. Any sub they carry at BEST BUY is not above entry level in my book. That sub is worth $400 at best and only because it's brand new in the box. $350 plus shipping was a smokin deal for the guy who owns that thing. Lol! BEST BUY entry level subs[+o(]
  12. I also own a PB12 plus 2 and love it. I'm thinkin of getting a Ultra 13 to join it too. Just curious are you thinkin of goin with the cylinder to save on space or do you think the Ultra 13 cylinder sounds better than the PB13???
  13. I am running an SVS PB12 Plus 2 with a Velodyne CHT-15. It does take some correct tuning and patience but once dialed in they're unbelievable. I use the SVS for lows and Velo for highs. Works awesome.
  14. There is a PB12 Plus in gloss black on audiogon right now for $800. Awesome sub maybe you can talk him down an extra $100? Also there's a PB12 NSD brand new in box for $475
  15. The RW12d is an ENTRY level sub and good for guests staying over in a spare bedroom. Not for your main living room magnum sub. Just buy an SVS and don't look back.
  16. The PB12 NSD is very nice as well. My neighbor just bought it in the cylinder and it's very impressive. Any SVS product you choose is gonna SQUASH any Klipsch sub plain and simple. But if you can save a couple extra dollars I would get the PB12-Plus. I own the PB12 Plus 2 with the 900 watt bash amp and it will go down to 15hz. They don't make my model anymore but if you are patient and wait you might be able to find a used PB12 Plus 2 for about $900. The only one better than that is the Ultra 13. They also used to make a PB12 Ultra 2 and that thing is unbelievable but unfortunately next to impossible to find.
  17. Depends on what you wanna spend for cash. I personally don't feel the 500d for the price of $999 new is worth it. The Klipsch RT-12d is ok at best if you wanna stick with Klipsch but again a bit pricey for only playin down to 19 or 20hz. If you wanna shake the foundation and truely be happy I'd seriously look into purchasing an SVS sub. The Ultra 13 SVS will get the job done EVERY time and leave you smiling. Otherwise if you're into the build your own thing then the Danley DTS-20 is just plain awesome. The SVS plays deep down to 14hz and Danley is reporting 11hz. Hope that helps some.
  18. Looking for some X-5's or X-10's. Thanks, Joe
  19. Ok well now I'm going crazy and still undecided. Gonna do some more research. It sure would be nice if more stores that carried Klipsch speakers also carried Klipsch haedphones. I'm gonna do a local search within a 100 miles and see if I can find a place where I can go listen to them both. The hunt is on![*-)]
  20. I'm just afraid if I buy the X5's they won't be any better than my moster turbines. Something is telling me only the X10's will do it. Read a few things from Thump and also some from Amy on them. Amy actually mentioned she liked X10's better. So I'm undecided. Might just say screw it and save a few bucks and snag the X5's and be done. Any sites you know that sell X5 or 10's for a better price? Ultimateelectronics.com had the X10's for $129 but they've been sold out for a very VERY long time[:'(]
  21. So are you saying the X5's sound better that the X10's? I've heard from a few people that the bass is better in the X10's also
  22. I have a CHT-15 that I am getting new veneer put on and need a new grill. Anyone have one to sell or any suggestions on how I can get one? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton, Joe
  23. I am currently using a pair of monster TURBINES and am pretty happy. They got great reviews so I picked up a pair. Only complaint is that they're a little heavy. My girlfriend uses them so much lately I think I'm just gonna give em to her and see if KLIPSCH is any better. The TURBINES are the best earbuds I've heard so far and have sampled others like all SHURE products. My TURBINES sound nicer still than every SHURE earbud including the $500 pair. So am curious if you guys could help me out and point me in right direction. KLIPSCH X5's or X10's??? Thanks, Joe
