    Hey beeker, the 3.5's are black. Cabinets are good but the paint can use some love. jweber, the 3.5 is a great speaker for it's size. The 2.2's are a very nice speaker also. I love the cabinets.

    I have a few Klipsch KG speakers. I have been using them throughout my house. One 3.5 has a indentation on its cone. I prefer local pickup.

    @beeker the seller was running the RF 5 as his mains and wanted RF3 or the 5 for his rear. We did a even trade. I will definitely order Bob's diaphragms. @A1UC so many to choose from based on size of room etc. You should start a new thread and I can guarantee you will get a ton of suggestions especially in your price range. @Robert B.     I posted this pic in response to a separate post in the garage. They are for my dad and he loves the sound compared to his RF 3's. They remind me of my Forte 1 before mod's which I must say sound great.

    Picked these up yesterday for dad. After hooking them up to his vintage pioneer and listing to some vinyl I can say they sound good. He likes the sound better than the RF 3. They are T-5000. Looks to have the same mid and high as my forte when they where stock.

    A few years ago I gave my dad a pair of RF 3 speakers. Today, he came over and we sat around listening to some LP's. My pair of forte's recently purchased from a fellow forum member where so wonderful that dad now wants a pair... So here they are. Willing to trade for a decent pair of 3 way Klipsch.

    I am looking for a pair of Vintage Heritage or 3 way Klipsch for a 2 Channel living room system. I'm looking at the older models to stay within my budget. I am willing to drive from Cincinnati, OH.

    Hey Bill, Thanks for the info. I had thought about replacing my KG 5.5 setup but with the Bob Crites upgrades I feel that only the R-7 could replace them for HT or when I listen to 2 CH music. My mission is to grab a pair of 3 way Klipsch. I am very excited that a forum member has invited me to demo a pair of La Scala.

    After listening for a few days in a HT setup and 2 CH music I will say they are good for HT but can't match my upgraded KG 5.5 speakers. Comparing them to the KG 3.5 for 2 CH they seem lacking with jazz. Listening to Dave Brubeck's all time greatest hits is actually enjoyable through the little KG. The money spent wasn't bad but I think I need some Heritage in my life.... Time for the RF-25 's to go on sale.
