  1. The Pilgrimage is to Indy? I am new to the forum and thought it might be to Hope. I would love to do it in either case. I heard the headquarters has "a product showcase room at the Klipsch headquarters!" from Amy's Blog http://forums.klipsch.com/blogs/amy/archive/2010/10/27/look.aspx.
  2. I could build a base but I wanted to know if it was easier to just get one. Thanks to vnzbd for the offer but my friend got the speakers from me and said he doesn't need the bases. I will keep you in mind if it comes up because it will if he wants to get those speakers back to me.
  3. At this point, I am thinking Heresys for the sides and front (3 right now). Thanks for all the help. A Belle, La Scala, and maybe a Cornwall are choices 1 through 3. I would have to hear the cornwall in a system. Thanks again for everything.
  4. The Klipsch site does not seem to have the specs on these. I was wondering about the specs and how these sounded. I have a chance to buy them on Ebay but not listen to them first. Here is all I know about them: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/storage/19/1176891/KP-3000-C.pdf Here is the Ebay page: http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-KP-2500-C-Pair-3-Way-Speakers-w-Stands-/350435936587?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51979c094b#ht_6696wt_1139 or Item Number: 350435936587
  5. I am wondering if anyone knows if/where you can get a base for a chorus II. I am looking to buy a pair of speakers but one is missing the base so is shorter by about 2 inches. Does anyone have a solution for this? I could build a base but it won't be as good.
  6. Thanks for everyones help. I have made some decisions I think.
  7. la scala fronts, chorus II rears, Hopefully Heresy side surrounds, and a Center (Heresy maybe)
  8. I cannot do the la scala right now with the current tv. That might change soon anyway. I almost bought a second pair of la scalas for the rear (music really) but that would interfere with playing pool a bit. It is a goo idea i guess. A heresy would not work well as a center either? This system is mostly for music.
  9. I am wondering what to do with my stereo. I have 2 la scalas as fronts, 2 chorus as rears. I want to know what to do for a center channel and surrounds. The room is 13' X 31'. The stereo is used 80% for music, 20% theater. The room has a pool table at the far end opposite the tv. I am wondering what to use for side surrounds and the center. I was thinking Heresy IIs for the sides. Maybe an Academy or Legend C-7 as a center to give me a 7.1 system. Another option would be two more Heresys as a center and center rear for an 8.1. The subs are not a problem.
  10. Thanks for the response. I love how it sounds right now with the La Scalas and Chorus. The music sounds great while playing pool (Chorus end) and for movies (TV at La Scala end). I am looking to improve the system some. I agree La Scala or Belle eventually for a center maybe, but side surrounds heresy maybe? It helps carry the sound between speaks. I have speakers there now (Ohm C's, with Phase Linear Drivers) but would like to upgrade to Heresy's if people think they would make it sound better. We almost bought a second pair of La Scala's for the rear but they would make playing pool all the more difficult. And the name should be ChiSoxPurdue as in a Chicago White Sox fan at Purdue. My best friend has the name BoSoxPurdue for most things after we both had SoxFanPurdue names.

  12. My father had four Klipsch speakers as long as I can remember. And as I grew up with them, I assumed that is how everyone had speakers like that. It was later that I realized how lucky I was. My friends like to show off their stereo and I just have a hard time listening to it. People were blown away by what I took to college (four Sound Dynamics 1500 Concert Monitors) and I thought they sounded good but not close to what was at home. I have learned to deal but glad to be with the good stuff again. I will hopefully never be without Klipsch again. And Zeke, what a find: Cornwalls for $40!
