I said in my OP that the government was to blame, yes. Where does the 3 Trillion Dollars figure come from? The Covid-19 fiasco??

it is the buyer who pays the sales tax , not the seller ---I don't see where that affects sellers , it is the buyers who should complain -

I have the woofer but it looks beat. The coil is toast and the cone is separated from it. Looking at it from the speaker it looks mint lol.

recone kits are plentiful ,  but do yourself a favor , call klipsch parts ,  they usually have great deals on woofers ---and sometimes cheaper than online ---

    Hi there!

I got a cornerhorn for use as subwoofer.

now I'am planning to built some La Scalas

Since there is no need for response below

80Hz, I'am thinking to scale them down by

    1.25 to utilize a 12" woofer.

Any experiences or suggestions out there?

I was actually thinking of doing the contrary , a lascala with an18 inch woofer  , same overall dimensions but  6 inches wider with a bigger dog house to fit an 18 inch woofer , in your example , you could use the same dimensions but go less wider , and use a smaller dog house along the same parameters for the bass bin -

Read it in a book.. stupid useless crap I remember

I am familiar with the local honeys. Pulled a hive out of a house in GreenValley. Loaded with eucalyptus honey... Looked like blackstrap... Tasted like tar. Gimme the rhododendron honey please... has to taste better...don't care if it's poison.

eucalyptus leaves  , eucalyptus honey , or eucalyptus oil   are a natural  cure for  a lot of  ailments   --skin disorders ---rheumatism , rashes , allergies , and even bad open infected wounds  ,  people with asthma or respiratory problems due to mold , and chemical lung damage can  boil the leaves and breath in the hot vapors under a cloth , some drink it like tea or coffee or make infusions ,  you got a skin flareup , put that honey or oil  on the affected area , it will cure it in no time -

The flat six is the aircraft engine to the far left of the case. The last 3 photos are of the Victorian hit and miss engine that wipster posted the video of. This Victorian engine is the one dad just recently completed.

Thinking the headline would more accurately read: Shutdowns ‘delayed’ 60 million covid19 infections. Already the rate/pace of new covid19 infections are rising.

     social distancing = lower infections-

Yes, moving forward, the impacts of the policy to allow all the protesting (great social distancing but I guess with so many folks out of work, what else could they do?) on the numbers in the next couple of weeks.  The ignorance is rampant, sorry to say but we could be proven wrong... doubtful though.

sad  ---- huge public  gatherings  while we are still fighting a pandemic  -

It is added to the final fee. What I am waiting to see is how much of this collected tax money gets to the states it was ostensibly charged for. I know I am not paying twice if the question comes up. Go see EBay and here is what they took on your behalf.

Learning to do a search for the exact EBay listing can many times find it locally listed where there are no sales tax fees nor EBay fees. All things considered though EBay has great exposure and is far cheaper than opening up your own store. I just hate seeing the tax thing more than any other fee junk.

For NYS  , for our County it's close to 9% sales tax -and it applies to all sales across the USA-

    I didn't make clear enough................I'm the SELLER.

then cancel the transaction and refund the buyer  , they can't force you to sell anything ----and yes , you have the right to change your mind ,  and that happens more often than you think , let me give you an example ,- a seller had an auction , and I win , a great deal , but the seller cancels the sale ,  nothing I could do about it ---he refunds me , and says the item is no longer available ------

They charge sales TAX on USED STUFF, which is the government's fault, but why is it so hard to find a way to cancel a sale? Can't we change our minds?

you have the right to cancel the sale ,  but the delay is within one hour only ------and once the hour is expired , you can ask the seller to cancel the sale if he has not shipped the item out -

:  MDF replaced Lumber-core plywood for finely-veneered panels for the Klipsch speakers over 2 decades ago.  This is lumber-core plywood...which is what the finely-veneered panels on the K-horn were made-of when his K-horns were built...and the lumber in that core was POPLAR:

This flyer gives views of the three different K-horn styles of builds, B, C, and D-styles of builds:

I appreciate your kind reply - Much Obliged

  12.  the klipsch  home speakers are legendary because of PWK's novel sound  designs that were unique ,  anyone who heard a klipsch speaker can remember that first time   , but the Commercial Theatre series are also now world leaders ,in  big halls and theatres ,and bigger installed venues  ,  klipsch is superior in sound quality with the  best cabinet construction , of the industry , and anytime you are in a theatre ----1 in every 2 theatres is equipped with Klipsch speakers   -

Rick has his reasons and opinion, but I can't agree.  The Type AA tweeter filter cuts a 105-106 dB hump in the K-77's response and is steep enough to protect a K-77-M in home use without the diodes.  To my ears, the difference is important.

Does a  type A sound really different, than an AA   , is it more pronounced in the highs and mids   ------some people really like the Type A -------and  I always wondered why , or what is the perceived sound difference between an AA and the A   ?
