I just picked up a Dual 1209 at a flea market for $10. It works perfect. I think the cartridge is a Pickering. It does sound nice.

I usually just run my PowerGate streaming via Wifi. I haven’t had an issue with the Bluetooth but as stated I use the WiFi more

I had my Hersey’s HD201 on their side with highs facing out. Worked great they set on top of my Fortes. But because if the projector screen. I ended up turning them up size down on top of the Fortes. Which puts their highs inline with ears. Also they line up with the center one that’s setting on a sub in the center.

I would love to have a pair. I used to have a pair of Hersey II’s. Had to sell them about 5 years ago when I was in between jobs. Needed money to pay bills. I could pay for shipping. I live west of St. Louis.

I have a Hersey’s FCL for home theater and sounds really nice. The center sets on my Klipsch RSW 12” Subwoofer

They are in excellent shape. Owner said they didn’t have too many hours on them. He bought them in Japan when he was in Desert Storm.

I planning on changing my Denon AR-397 2-channel for Klipsch PowerGate for two channel listening. This will allow me streaming and playing FLAC files from my Mac also CD’s and Vinyl. Any experience with the PowerGate. I’ll be pushing a pair of Forte 1’s.

Just wanted to say I picked up the Klipsch PowerGate today. It’s got a very nice warm well rounded sound especially with the turntable. Not too bright nor harsh. I’m really enjoying it so far. It also allows me to stream and play FLAC files.

I have an older Denon DRA-397 2-channel with phono. I was wondering about a 2-channel Rotel. I’ve never heard Rotel. Just wondering how it compares to Denon. I’m driving a pair of Forte’s, used just for two channel listening.

So, my Doc at Vanderbilt said I should get the Shingles vac. Fine. My mother having been a nurse, beat into me to always follow the doctors orders...
I march into Walmart a day or two later to pick something up for the wife and notice they have a poster saying they give various shots and this is on the list! I ask about it and they have a waiting list since the serum is evidently difficult to get. Put me on the list.
Maybe two months go by and I'm there picking something up for the wife (I usually avoid the place altogether) Inquired about the serum and it turns out they've had it in and the list is "done". Hmm.... and nobody called me why?
So, they admitted the oversight, asked if I wanted it right now (yes).
As I sat & waited for the gal to stab me, I realized I was wearing a sweater and it might get in way of "rolling up my sleeves"
She came out, concurred....so I pulled sweater off.
I then asked her as she was swabbing the area "Is this going to hurt you as much as it does me??"
"Nope" with a bit of a devilish flavor in her voice and twinkle in her eye.
Well, she must be right because today three days later, it still feels like I have a bruise on my arm about the size of a lemon where it's tender. (there is however, no bruise on the arm)
I did both shots. And both of them have me a 100+ fever for 24 hours. I felt like crap. I did read that was a reaction for some people.

I just recently picked up from a guy for free an old Pioneer SA5800 integrated amp. 25 watts per channel. I’m using it with my Fortes’ for two channel vinyl. I have an older Denon D30L turntable with an Orfton red cartridge. This set up sounds amazing! The 25 watts will run you out of the room. I can’t listen to it pass about 8 watts. I’m amazed how warm and clean the old Pioneer sounds compared to the newer Denon 2 Channel amp I own. I know your looking at tubes, but something SS vintage might be exactly what you’re looking for.

I have really been enjoying my my Super Heresys. To me they sound as good, maybe better than my Forte’s and could be because my Forte’s are in too small of a room. The Super Heresys seem much more balanced in sound.

I really love my mod it really shows up in the upper mid bass, really helps the midrange. For me, it helped to cut down on the brightness and hardness of the horn midrange. Gives the speaker a much smoother sound.

That’s a great album. I also own that album. I’ve always liked Dan Fogelberg. I think he was an amazing writer.

Heritage Center Channel?

I have two Fortes and a Hersey for center. Herseys make great center channels very clean and clear for speech. It sits vertical on top of my sub underneath my screen. I have used it on its side, works great. A lot of people will run Herseys on their side. If you remember the first Cornwall had the midrange & tweeter horns running vertical. I would just put it on its side no need to modify.
