Very nice with sweet sound and clarity. Large sound in small package. These retailed for some coin...:emotion-21:

They sure did... XF-48s were $2500/pair I believe. Only set more expensive was the RF-7ii package. These fell right in between the RF-7iis and RF-82iis.

No takers yet?  Are you kidding me?

Folks, these are really nice speakers.

    Bill

Every time I have tried something different I have regretted it and you think I would have learned my lesson by now. It is truly a sickness that we all have. However, I'm willing to roll the dice again and change it up but the Icon X and W lines are truly great speakers that never received the recognition or praise they deserved. You won't be disappointed. One of the most aesthetically pleasing designs I have ever seen Klipsch produce IMO.

  3. I'm stepping up my game in my dedicated theater room, therefore I told the wife I would step down my game throughout the rest of the house. I have been using this unit in my living room for about 1.5 years now. Very pleased with the performance for a soundbar and it has the ability to add an external subwoofer. I chose this particular soundbar because aesthetically it went very well with our décor. Comes with original box and accessories. 9/10 condition.

    $100 shipped.

    Paypal only.

    Thank you!

Looks like there is some interest in the Umax 15.  I have its little brother the Reference 15 in a sealed box which I just love.  The Umax will handle more power and dig deeper.

I was lusting after the great price for the DA 1000 plate amp.  That would power an 18" sub nicely.  B)

Let me know, I'm traveling Wednesday through Sunday this week so I won't be able to ship anything after Tuesday! Got a new sub on the way so would like to move this to recoup funds.

Do you have the 12s ?

I do, however I was planning on keeping them as I utilize them at my office in a 2.1 setup. The XB-10s are essentially the exact same as the XL-12s. I also have a pair of un-opened XFS Stands which work with XL-23s, XL-12s, or XB-10s.

  6. I changed to a JBL Studio 590s and am parting ways with my 3rd beloved pair of Klipsch XF-48s. I always revert back to these and have a lot of love for these speakers. Perfect combination of style/sound and one of the most attractive speakers Klipsch has ever produced IMO.

I have all of the original boxes and accessories that these speakers come with to ship these all safely to your home. Both speakers are in near mint condition with only some small nicks and scratches on the bases.

  7. I've decided to go a different direction with my home theater sub. I'm parting out my Dayton Ultimax 15 kit. These items are ~6 months old and have been gently used, I do not push my system anywhere near reference volumes. I still have original boxes to safely ship.

I am willing to split and if someone local wants the enclosure it is FREE.

  8. I still utilize one in my 2.1 system in my office at work. It's certainly not the greatest performer, but for the $100 I paid for it from Newegg is does a nice job. Plus I always liked the design styling of the synergy subs which mates well with my Klipsch XB-10s.

As far as how it will perform with your RP series depends mostly on the size of your room. But I can guarantee that it would be in your best interest to save/budget for an upgrade down the line as it will certainly be the weakest link in your system.
