  1. Many customers find that at approximately 30 hours of use, headphones sound much better than they do straight out of the box. The S4i are definitely more bass-heavy compared to the X7i. The X7i are far more accurate and balanced....Just depends on what kind of sound you prefer to say which sounds better.
  2. Just spoke with our engineers. It sounds like an issue with the headphone jack of your iPhone 5. Before trying to do an exchange/return, you should try a different pair of headphones with a three button remote with your iPhone 5. They should have models on display at Best Buy if you don't have another one on you.
  3. Hmm, interesting. I am forwarding this to our product team.
  4. Flat cables will always produce more noise than rounded ones. Clipping the cable to your shirt will help. I also tuck my cable underneath my shirt which helps. It really shouldn't be that pronounced of a noise in any case. The X7i will definitely have a more neutral and balanced sound compared to the S4i...You really shouldn't have to burn it in. Is the scratchiness/buzzing a result of the cable noise?
  5. Use a tighter seal. The seal will adjust to the shape of your ear over time.
  6. Hmm, at first, I was going to say that it sounds like your headphone jack is defective but since it is occuring in all of your device, then you likely received a faulty product. Very sorry about that. Where did you buy them from? An authorized dealer? If so, you will most likely be eligible for a replacement. There really are not any instructions we could give you to fix them. If you are in the U.S., we do send out replacements very quickly. Please call 800-KLIPSCH or email support@klipsch.com
  7. If you are looking for gym headphones, you definitely need to consider the new A5i Sport: http://www.klipsch.com/image-a5i-sport-headphones

  12. Two-year warranty on our headphones. Please call us at 800-KLIPSCH. Also, you can turn off the caps lock button....and watch your language. I deleted your response, but if you do that again, you will not be allowed to post again.
  13. That sounds likely to be the case. What software are you running?

  18. 1) Do you usually have your iPod/iPhone in your pocket? Then, you probably would want a remote/mic version. 2) Amazon is an authorized dealer as long as the item is shipped and sold by Amazon.com. The warranty would apply in that case. 3) Any quality headphones will make crappy recordings sound like crap. The X10 and S4i are quality. Pirated music can still be encoded in high quality. It really just depends.
  19. As long as they are shipped and sold by Amazon.com, they should be legitimate.
  20. No firm plans to update the X10i in the immediate future.
  21. Read this article and try some of Professor Thump's tips: http://forums.klipsch.com/blogs/markb/archive/2009/07/09/getting-the-most-out-of-s4-headphones.aspx
