  1. I thought I was the only one here who used Crown power. This is what I use to drive each Khorn in Tri-Amp mode. Also notice AL K's xover which I use when listing thru Fisher tube amp.
  2. In todays Nashville, TN paper, honey blonde birch cadinets, GENTLY USED, $450.00 OBO 615-516-9160 I have no knowledge of these, just passing the ad on to board members. MB
  3. m00n, I was one of the sellers of the Belles this month on Ebay and the buyer lived in NC, me in TN and he used http://cratersandfreighters.com/ to pick up, crate and ship for, I believe he told me $310.00. Congrats on your purchase! MB
  4. M00N, I placed one of my LaScala directly over a heat vent by placing it on 2" risers and covering the bottom of the speaker with a 1/16' thick metal plate. Klipsch sells, or did sell, a plate for the Belles which was intended to be used to magnetically isolate a TV sitting on top of it. It is the perfect size to place on bottom to protect the Belle from the heat. I have one of these, if I can find it, I will give you if you get the Belles and want it. MB
  5. I have both and personally like the sound of the LaScala better, although they both sound great. I just seems the midrange is a little cleaner. But the Belle is easier on the eyes. You can't go wrong either way!
  6. They sold for $1,900 using "BUY IT NOW", Their new home will be in NC.
  7. I just listed this pair of Belles on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3010524456 MB
  8. khorn58, I tried to email you, but it comes back undeliverable. Try sending to me again thru Klipsch, I corrected my address. Please include your direct email address and a phone #. MB
  9. Craig, do you service Fisher or just Scott? Send me private email if you like. MB
  10. Anyone have an opinion on the Fisher KX-200. My father has one which has not been used in 25 years and said I can have it if I want. I have Klipschorns. MB
  11. I have a pair of LaScala Pro bass bins. I think the woofers are bad but the cabinets are useable. Let me know if you are interested.
  12. That "TV" is for viewing pink noise, you don't want your pink noise too big..LOL
  13. I would love to hear a nice SET amp through my Klipschorns prior to taking the plunge. If there is anyone on the forum in the Nashville area, with S.E.T amps that would like to bring them over for a listening session, that would be great. Currently my system is Tri-Amped and I would like to try an S.E.T for the Mid & Highs and keep the SS for the lows. I also have ALK Eng's crossovers so we could try the S.E.T alone. We can talk more about that if anyone is interested. Also have LaScalas & Belles if that is of interest. MB
  14. Crown DC-300A Series II in Mono on woofer, DC-150A Series II in mono on Squawker, DC-75 in mono on tweeter.
  15. Thanks John, The crossovers I am speaking of are Al Klappenbergers not Klipsch AL. The amps are (2)Crown DC-300A, (2)DC-150 all Series II and (2)DC-75 all in Mono. I have a Crown IQ USM-810, which is crossover, delay & parametric EQ.
  16. If I wanted to spend $1,500 max for a pair of DIY or Kit Mono Blocks to power my Klipschhorns what would you recommend I consider. I listen to Jazz, Blues, Country and classic rock at up to about a 95db level. Currently I have the system Tri-Amped using all Crown amps, With Mac SS AV Preamp and at least for now would like to keep the woofer powered that way, the bass sounds great! I feel the Mid is too bright and harsh etc.. I also have AL's crossovers I can use and may want to just Bi-Amp them. I have very good soldering, woodworking and metal working skills but not electronic expertise, although I can read most schematics. I welcome everyones input as I am ready to start!
  17. You can use a Crown USM-810, it has time delay, crossover, parametric EQ, mixing etc.. Top quality device that you can program from your PC.

No doubt about the quality of the designs and the ability to upgrade the parts used in them to world class, no matter what level parts you put in it initially. Nothing in the SS world could interest me. Klipsch out. ---------------- Where can I get info on Pat's WE clone SET. Thanks in advance for your help.
  20. I have just started to use software from www.saisoft.com , you can download a free 30 day trail at their site. So far I really like what I see, but don't have a lot of experience with it yet. I do have a AKG mic that is flat from 20-20khz which I think would be very important to obtain meaningful results.
  21. I have a KSP-C6 center that I will take $350.00 for plus shipping if anyone is interested.
