  1. Oh! Ok. So I will need a couple 'y' connectors to run the outputs to the inputs, if I understand correctly?
  2. Very glad! I shudder to think I almost painted them black! Im with you on the Watco products, the stuff is remarkeable.
  3. Ha! I heard that! Those wont be in there permanently, they are off to another room and unfortunately a height restriction where they are going wont allow for the risers! If I put them elsewhere though, risers will be a definite.
  4. I restapled the new cloth around the motor boards. The pics did not turn out on here the way I thought they would. Im gonna repost new pics. Thanks for the comment!!
  5. Im still doing something wrong or I have a problem with either the amp or the pre amp section of the Marantz. No sound.
  6. I have owned several Bose products in the past and I have enjoyed them. I will say this for sure, no one can do big sound small like Bose. Dr Amar took the indirect sound approach, Mr Klipsch took the in your face punch you in the chest approach....I prefer the latter but bose equipment sounds good. Thoughts with the family. P.s. I wonder what Dr. Bose and Mr. Klipsch are talking about?
  7. This is the original 2R crossover from the '64 Cornwalls. They still work but I was told they would be way out of spec so I replaced them. Bound for the Museum in Hope!! []
  8. I used 0000 steel wool. The oil was 'Watco Rejuvenating Oil'. You can buy it at Lowes, Home Depot or Amazon. Put a liberal amount of the oil on the steel wool and rub with the grain. Its a several day process. Apply, let dry, apply let dry, etc....Worth it though. http://www.amazon.com/RUST-OLEUM-66041-Watco-Quart-Rejuvenating/dp/B00013US44
  9. I listed a pair of '64 Cornwalls a while back for sale. They were rough and needed a lot of love, and parts. They never sold and I was able to free up the funds needed to get them going again. It took steel wool, a full bottle of rejuvenation oil (they were DRY and thirsty), 2 woofers, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers, grill cloth and quite a bit of elbow grease. I repainted the originl pie logos with a sharpie paint pen. All of the components and cloth came from Bob Crites and its all amazing stuff. I am extremely pleased with his equipment. I left in the original K55 driver, I may have Crites rebuild them but for now, they work and sound amazing. If it ain't broke don't fix it.On a side note......in these Cornwalls was a '2R' crossover. I guess its not all that common. I will include a pic of it on down the list. Anyway, I spoke to Bodark @ the museum in Hope and made arrangments to donate the crossovers to the museum. Not a major deal but makes me happy he wanted them. That made the whole project worth it right there! Look for my 2R crossovers when you visit for the pilgrimage! [Y]
  10. I got it! To bridge the Fosgate 4100, you connect the positive from speaker 3 output to the neg from speaker 4 input, and the positive from speaker 1ouput to the negative from speaker 2 output. Hopefully is someone digs this thread up later it helps!
  11. I have had no luck with a manual or any info outside the wpc rating.
  12. This is the back of a Fosgate 4100 Power Amp. I am going to run this with a marantz 2265, making the Marantz a preamp. How in the heck do I hook this up!? The back of the fosgate has inputs 1-4, not left and right. I am wanting to run this in the 200wpc bridged mode. Any help is more than appreciated!
