I have a Denon turntable, not the fanciest by any stretch but its clean and works. I say it works, I have it connected to a Marantz 2265 and if I give it much juice at all there is an awful hum. I have the turntable grounded to the screw right beside the phono inputs just as I should. I'm new to turntables and records, can anyone provide me any insight as to why the hum is happening? Thank you!

Is there any way to run a sub off a Marantz 2265? I feel like this is a stupid question but I am sticking my neck out there. If it is possible, how do you do it and what type of sub does it need to be? Thank you in advance!

OK....now it comes on with no sound!

I have one of these monsters and the thing just died. Quit. Wont power up. Flatlined. Before I haul this 60+ lb machine to Durhams in Little Rock is there anyone who can provide any insight into what may be the problem? Went to turn on and nothing. No lights, no nothing!

Its a receiver. A monster, 100 wpc. The person is asking $100 but I know nothing about it!

If you listen to music but you arent passionate about music, its because you havent heard music. When you listen to a nice vintage pair of klipsch, you hear it, all of it. You find the instrument you didnt notice before, you hear the background singer you may not have noticed before. It sounds the way it should.

Im listening to Wynton Marsalis and Willie Nelson 'Two Guys With the Blues'. The thought of PWK comes to mind and again I am left thinking about how much I am enjoying the sound and I know that with no Paul Klipsch, I would not be enjoying my music the way I do. I'd like to say thanks to Mr. Klipsch for giving me the chance to hear music in a way that I have not heard music before. Great work, sir, much appreciated.

It would appear that we have a clear winner for the "King of my domain" award and the same person takes home the award for "1 upper of the year", and "Most Prententious Post". Im glad I am happy with my piddly La Scalas and their single k-55 and k-77's. Good to see my post can invoke such emotion. [Y]

The system would not need to be anywhere near as involved as ebay. A simple positive, negative option experience with an explanation of why the transaction was good or why it was bad would suffice I would imagine.
