I watched Man of Steel tonight as well and WOW on the sound!

Just to be clear the Gen 2 and Gen 3 do not have hard drives and are both the smaller black ones. The Gen 1 is the only one with a hard drive and is the white version that is the same size as an Airport Extreme. Youthman, just go get a Gen 3 and enjoy and as was pointed out earlier the Gen 3 is the only one that is 1080p.

Just buy the Gen 3 for $99. The first gen was the old white one that was nothing more than a hard drive and Airport extreme. I sold my 2nd gen just to get the 1080p in the third generation.

I am semi interested as I have the DBP-2012 and absolutely love it! I am just curious of why you want to get rid of it and have you even used it? The picture and audio quality on my Denon is amazing. Plus, that is a GREAT deal!

If I posted a pic of my speakers for sale with George W. Bush in the background and then commented on it would you reply then? Youthman has been here quite some time and does give great information so why would you attack him?

How many of you put in a movie that you don't want to watch just to hear how great your speakers sound and what movie?

I have a pair of RS-35 surround speakers I am looking to sell. They are in good condition and I have checked ebay so I think I have a fair price set for them. I live in Nashville and would rather sell locally since I don't have PayPal and I do have them listed on craigslist but will give forum members first priority. These are now sold. Thank you Youthman for the contact about Shaun. Hope he enjoys them.

And a 40" TV is dwarfed by them. The TV cabinet is built in so I am limited on what I can do since I rent the condo. Placement sucks as well as you can see I take up a lot of my entrance with the RF-7 but I don't have many visitors so I just enjoy the sound. Also, ignore the wires so far as I am going to run them clean as soon as I get stands for the rear. I may move the mains out as far as I can on each side.

And here they are. I still need stands for the RS-7's so all is in front right now.

I absolutely LOVE my Denon DBP-2012udci player. I looked at the Oppo but got such a great deal on the Denon that I couldn't refuse. Haven't looked back.

By the way ivanhurd, I love that your system in your signature is just what it is......nice, short, and badass. I would love the 4311 but don't want to put that kind of money into it. I figure the 4310 because I don't need Airplay (I stream everything through my Apple TV). Honestly, the 1911 sounds good but I want more and the simple fact that I spent all of my 20's on the road as a professional musician I love pure and clear sound.

I can get the 4310 for $650. The 3312 for around $600.

Well apparently I must be WAY out of shape because they kicked my ***! Moving LaScalas by yourself....nice and impressive! Drive on up to Nashville and you can hear anytime!

Well I have confused myself even more.....I am trying to decide if I go for the Denon AVR-3312 or the 4310. Both are close in price. I am going to have to give it a few weeks before I can buy a dedicated amp.

I will try to get some pics up. Sad thing is these speakers are overkill for my condo but I don't care....they just sound so great. Plus I am very limited on speaker placement and such due to how the room was built. Probably one of the best deals I have gotten in a little while. Of course I did get my Denon BDP-2012ci Blu-Ray player brand new in the box for $250.00. Cheapest you can get one on the internet is $799.00 and list is $899.00. I have a way of finding great deals occasionally but this one makes me smile! I definitely will look at the XPA-5.

I am also looking at Emotiva since they are local. What do you guys recommend?

So long story short I had a complete RF-35 surround system that I loved and bought for a steal.....I later passed that on to a forum member as any lover of Klipsch would do! Anyway, the reason I did was because of the deal I got. I bought 2 RF-7's, 1 RC-7, and 2 RS-7's for $700! Great deal that I could not pass up! They are in good shape except the RC-7 because there are indentions in the two speakers but I plan on contacting Klipsch to get replacements. I have been so excited that I have to share. Getting ready to upgrade my receiver from a Denon AVR-1911 to a Denon AVR-3312 this week just to push them. They sound great already but I know the 3312 will give them more and also give me the option to add an amp. You should have seen me (5' 9" 165lbs) getting those RF-7's into my condo!!!!
