i personally like the "non-grille" it gives them the "strong and powerful' look they deserve

what size room do you have? i can tell you that you would look might cool with a pair of big ol' lascalas in there

thanks for the replys guys. yes I felt the amp and it was perfectly fine......i even used them for the rest of the night.? it was weird because they played absolutly perfect. are there notes or pitchs that the drivers might not be able to produce? so it makes a cracking noise trying to? Rob

Ok, if anyone can help me out and tell me what is wrong it would be great. Today I was up stairs listening to my HT system and the cd player came to a good song....I had a "klipsch urge" and I went down stairs to play the song....well I turned them on and started playing them....A reasonable loud volume. And by the way the song was "This is how you remind me by nickleBack" so anyway im going along picking up some trash and stuff and all of a sudden about 1 minute into the song it hits this really high weird note.....and the speakers crack like a geeerack noise....i very very quickly turned it down and played the part over again (not so loud this time) and it did it again.....im thinking ok? the cd. so i take it back up stairs play it on my ht system and no cracking. what does this mean? I have a pair of industrial la scalas and have not had a problem. except I had to replace a tweeter once. just recently. but other than that they sounded just as great as they always did.....could it be the amp? the mixer? I have them set up in a "dj" set up. i have a carver cube amp and a radio shack SSM-1200 mixer and have never herd this before. are my klipsch ruined? any help would be great. Thanx Rob

Howdy ho, klipsch fanatics...i was just listing to my scalas and was wondering are any of the 3 drivers liquid cooled? or do they need to be for that matter? ive never acctually known....always did wonder though. any input would be great. thanx Rob

I know ill get shot for this one. but i run 2 LaScalas off my Carver M-400....yes the cube....i get great sound..and the amp is silent...no fan...nothing..and it stays cool....no heat. great amp. have had it for like 20 some years and no probs. BUILT LIKE A TANK for sure. amp AND speaker protection. i don't think they have them new (well duh) but i think you could pick one up on ebay...just a thought from the caver/klipsch combo....(inside joke) well good luck Rob

so I'm limited to a LaScala, Cornwall, Heresy Hello.....I think the wrong word to use there is limited. I have a pair of laScala and wouldn't trade them for nothing. so if you do get "stuck" with lascalas then don't feel bad....because you got some AWESOME speakers Rob.
