Looks fantastic! Do they come with feet of any kind?

Nice. I understand they use Stereo Integrity HST18 drivers so they should be pretty strong.

PM sent on the Fortes.

I agree. She's "anti-Jubilee", "anti-LaScala" anti just about any speaker that is larger than a bose cube and even at that, she'd want the bose cube hidden behind a book or something...
So having the Jubilee's, LaScalas and now a Danley (verses two Danley's) is.... shall we just say, a compromise that I'm willing to live with!!
Ah, good negotiator...if you want one, buy two and let her negotiate you down. I'm taking notes.

They're impressive subs for sure. Best wishes on your purchase.

Member MichaelandKlipsch had a pair of Captivator S2s, but he hasnt been active for quite some time. He is the only member I can recall who runs JTR subs.

What speakers comprise the rest of your system? You referenced H3s in one of your posts.

I had the same problem with the Redmere Monoprice cable. I called them and they recommended their generic non Redmere
My cable run is 40' and since replacing, it has been flawless.

Crap, this cable runs inside the wall and ceiling. Replacing it could be a pain in the rear.

i guess you could always take your blu ray player out of your rack and a separate hdmi cable and hook it up to see if it does the same thing.
could be a faulty disc.
The issue pops up regardless of which movie i'm watching so it's not the disk.
I also have a TV connected to the receiver via a separate HDMI cable and i never have issues while watching a movie on the TV.

Writing to see if you guys could help me diagnose what appears to be an HDMI related issue in my Home Theater.
When watching a movie on blueray through our projector, the image will occasionally cut out for several seconds. This happens at random and occurs maybe 2-4 times over the course of a movie.
The projector is connected to my receiver with a Monoprice Cabernet HDMI cable with redmere technology. The cable length is 25' or 30'...i cant remember which length specifically.
Does anyone else have this problem and know what might be the cause?

Oh I wish I was a rich man.

I'm interested in trying tubes, let me know the specifics of what you're selling.

I think the RF-7III would look better with a veneered baffle like the RF-7II.

Not mine, but they make nice surrounds or rears.

For what it's worth, I set all of my speakers to small with the crossover at 80hz.
Nice McIntosh gear btw.

They're clearly worth at least a dolla two ninety nine.

I understand supply and demand but hate paying more than msrp.
I think it will be a few years before we see Pappy or BTAC at MSRP. The bourbon craze will fade eventually.
New SI 18"s and DIYSG Baltic Birch Enclosures
in Subwoofers

This would be a great combo for someone looking for a DIY project. I wish DIYSG offered Baltic Birch when I did my sub.
